HomeTVGeneral HospitalGeneral Hospital Teams With amFar on Return of The Nurses Ball Jamey Giddens March 19, 2013 1 Comment The return of General Hospital's fictional Nurses Ball has found a real-life partner. The beloved song and dance event, which raises funds for HIV research on GH, is teaming with The Foundation for AIDS Research (amFar). "General Hospital is proud to be working with amfAR as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary," said GH showrunner Frank Valentini in a press release. "We have pulled out all the stops to make the return of the Nurses Ball an event worth waiting for, and by linking the ball to amfAR we partner in their efforts to raise awareness beyond the town of Port Charles." This will mark the first time GH's Nurses Ball has been associated with a nonfiction charity, according to the release. Kudos to Team GH and amFar for using this platform to help save lives!
