HomeTVTalk ShowsIs Jenny McCarthy Replacing Joy Behar on The View? Jamey Giddens March 22, 2013 Talk Shows, The Jenny McCarthy Show, The View 11 Comments Could ABC Daytime snatch Jenny McCarthy away from VH1 to fill Joy Behar's coffee table spot on The View? Extra got the scoop from the bubbly blonde herself. According to McCarthy, she'll only be pinch-hitting for The View, while they look for a permanent replacement for Behar. LMAO Log in to Reply House of Plantagenet March 22, 2013 No. NO!!! This is all kinds of WRONG!!!! Log in to Reply House of Plantagenet March 22, 2013 But these days, I find the Talk much more enjoyable than the View. The Talk had it growing pains, but the current cast have a great rapport and doesn’t take itself to seriously. The View is showing its age. It has become pretty stale. Log in to Reply The_Moustache March 22, 2013 The Talk has grown on me in the past year. my one complaint is that i do not like Aisha Tyler. i don’t think she has chemistry with the other women. Log in to Reply TV Gord March 22, 2013 I used to like her a lot, but I think she’s got a screw that’s a little too loose for ABC to take a chance on her. However, it would be fun to take bets on how long it would be before Whoopi tries to pinch her head off. Log in to Reply pferrando March 22, 2013 I think Jenny is funny and she may add some real comic relief to this tired show. She was recently on Watch What Happens Live, and I had forgotten how gorgeous she still was. Why not? Log in to Reply TV Gord March 22, 2013
my one complaint is that i do not like Aisha Tyler. i don’t think she has chemistry with the other women.
The one thing that bugs me about The Talk is that it has become too “amped up”. Everybody is forcing the laughs too much, and whereas The View is more spontaneous, The Talk plans (scripts?) it’s opening talks too much. It’s too obvious that no one is going to say anything politically incorrect, so it’s all too choreographed for me. I agree about Aisha, but I think she’s forcing her personality too much. When she laughs that annoying nasal Maria Menunos laugh, it grates on my nerves. She was never like that before. It’s as though she’s playing a character. Aside from all of that, though, I don’t get why people are saying The View is running scared because The Talk’s ratings are improving. It’s not as though they are in the same time slot. Log in to Reply keanna March 22, 2013 I wouldn’t mind Jenny, I’ve always like her, she’s funny so she can provide the comic relief and give the show the freshness it needs. I think the View does need a shake-up. Log in to Reply Marland Fan March 22, 2013 Oh, good God no!!! She’s more obnoxious than Debbie Matenopoulos ever was. Log in to Reply giogio March 23, 2013 I like her and was interested in her and cried with her over her son’s autism issues. Its a personal subject for me. However, when did she become a comic with her own show. I was surprised at that. Maybe being wih Jim Carey all that time rubbed off on her. Either way, its nice to see her happy. Hope her son is doing fine. And hope she gets a break on a popular TV show. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
