GIDDYUP: Caroline Wants Rick to "Ride in Her Carriage All Night" on Bold and Beautiful

The Bold and the Beautiful opened with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) picking up a copy of Stallion to read, while Bill (Don Diamont) was fantasizing about her in her lingerie. Apparently Stallion got Brooke in the mood. She fell asleep and promptly started dreaming of Bill. Bill interrupted Brooke's steamy dreams by waking her up with a call. He told her his needs weren't being met.

Even though everyone else had left Forrester Creations for the day, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) was still at the fashion house. In fact, she was eating Chinese food with her mom Danielle (Crystal Chappell). Danielle told Caroline that she was worried about her.

The bratty blonde shot back that it wasn't her fault her mothers raised her in Manhattan with Park Avenue tastes. Suddenly Caroline announced she was going to get her man. I guess moo shu pork makes her as horny as reading Stallion makes Brooke.

Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) fretted about Maya (Karla Mosley) and Rick's (Jacob Young) connection. Maya told Rick that Carter was honest with her. Rick insisted he and Maya share something special. Meddling Dayzee (Kristolyn Lloyd) interrupted them. She's really becoming Taylor 2.0.

Rick walked out of the shower to discover Caroline waiting for him in her panties. She quickly set about seducing him and revealed she knew about Maya. She told him she wanted him to ride her New York carriage all night long. Well, alrighty then.

Maya decided she needed to go talk to Rick. Eric told her his son was down at the guest house. When she arrived, she found him getting hot and heavy with Caroline. Cheer up, Maya. Caroline's carriage has to turn into a pumpkin eventually.

The episode ended with Brooke showing up at Bill and Katie's house, where she and Bill kissed. Unfortunately for Bill, it turned out to be a fantasy.

Sidenote: Isn't it great having Hope (Kimberly Matula), Liam (Scott Clifton) and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) on the backburner for a spell?

As much as I love the idea of a new triangle the about face in direction of both Caroline and maya in character direction makes this a lil bit less interesting for me to swallow. Caroline came on a sweet and innocent and had a charity. Maya was tough as nails n hellbent on getting her kid.

Now Caroline is a vapid, clubber and out for status only! AND maya is all sweetness and virtuous.

I like the idea but why change the characters only to make this a battle over good and evil.

Otherwise the show is great!!

I hope L,S and H are on the backburner for a long time! It's stil the poorest of the 4 soaps, but it's heading in the right direction.

B&B is so good right now. As soap fans we could not ask for more in something that is 17 min long. You have Shirtless men with girls moaning serving up their carriages all night long. Black women seeing their shirtless man with moaning women through windows. Stallions fantasizing about sista inlaws. Black girls who can't keep to their own business. It's good. Such a fan again.

I LOVE that these 3 are on the backburner. I was just saying this yesterday. They have dominated the show for months. It's about time that some other characters got storylines instead of being supporting players to Hope/Liam/Steffy. I am actually enjoying the show right now. I agree that some of the characters have done an 180 with their personalities: i.e. Dayzee, Maya, and Caroline. But it still makes for good TV. Really feeling the Maya/Rick/Caroline triangle they're setting up.

All I can do is wonder about the possible cuts in the wardrobe budget as this show has a lot of gals walking around only in their lingerie Smile

Well...I am glad thet Liam is on the backburner. I ca handle the girls when they are with their brothers. I cant handle Steffy with Taylor though.

I still dont see any chem between Eric and Taylor, I have to admit that them gaving dinner with the black crowd was an interesting setup. Throw JY as Rick in the middle and its even more fun, though I cant stop thinking about KL in the role of Rick, it would make the setup more believeable.

I like the fact that Brad changed Caroline, she is actually enjoyable right know.

Love Bill/Katie/Brooke. Great storylines, good music and even better dialogue.

I wasn't watching when the famous triangle was going on, but I think the show (even in a half hour format)needs to be more balanced.

It's been Brooke/Bill/Katie and Rick/Maya heavy to me for the last almost two weeks.

Mix it up a bit.

But I like the show. It looks great.

The name of the actress who plays Maya is named Karla Mosley, not Kala. Just thought I'd point that out.

I am loving Caroline as a snooty bitch. It's a million times better than the sainted bore she was originally. I am just hoping when she and Maya start to duke it out over Rick that Maya doesn't become some shrinking violet and crumbles at Caroline saying mean things to her. She needs to be tough...maybe take a page from Drucilla's play book on YR.

For the last year and a half it has been all triangle all the time and if they weren't on, the other characters were talking about them, minus the month they were killing off Stephanie. It was brutal.
