Sadly it wasn't that shocking since it had been spoiled everywhere. The old days of soaps were better when viewers were actually surprised.

He looks good, but I never found him to the strongest of actors. I always wondered whatever happened to the first actor to play the part. I think he dated Genie after being on the show.

Oh yeah, these bastards at DC ruined it. It's not my fault because I go to sites like this where I should know that they report on things like that. No it's that Jamey Giddens that made me realize we don't have 1950 anymore. Tired Tired Tired

Anyway, back to the topic ... I LOVE that he's back. He still looks hot and I hope that he stays for a while and is not killed off after a few weeks like in 1983 and 2001. Would be a shame.

RKK could be the worst actor in the world (he's not) and I would still tune in every day to see that gorgeous mug!

Re: the spoiler. It's not that the bloggers posted a spoiler, it's that it was made unavoidable by putting the actual spoiler in the headline. Seemed like the bloggers cared more about breaking the news than anything else. Since Frank Valentini has put such a tight lid on surprises, I don't think anyone expected to see a spoiler when they looked at DC or any other blog. If I had known there would be a major surprise blown, I would have waited to look at the web.

I come to DC daily and never saw anything about him returning. This was a total shocker to me.

Only problem with that logic is, the bloggers didn't break the news. We pulled a quote from TV Guide, which broke the news and ran it in the headline. Had we not posted this damn story, someone would have made a thread about it in our Daytime Confidential forums, or in the comments on the message board.

@soapjunkie...I didn't direct my comment at DC or anyone in particular. As for the 50s, 60s & 70s I couldn't tell you what life was like back then. I wasn't around. If you say so though...

Jamey: In my opinion, you did break the news to DC readers who hasn't seen TV Guide and you misused the term "spoiler alert" which is supposed to give readers the chance not to read the news.

Go find the words "spoiler alert" in that post. It isn't there, nor was it ever. The headline always read "SHOCKER", not spoiler alert. We only say spoiler if it something we break ahead of an air show. This wasn't ahead of an air show, nor our spoiler to break. This was aggregation of content from another reliable source.

LMAO.. I can't believe still some of the other posts are bleeding into the new one about "spoilers"...the magic of the web. To millions of ppl it was surprise, there are millions of ppl that aren't soap junkie(Drunk (no disrespect soapjunkie) like we are here at DC. We come here to find news which spoilers are news. I waited way too long to see the headline ! Evil MAB was fired!!

Jamey: Look, I'm not trying to have a long, drawn out argument here. I'm a loyal DC reader and I'm voicing the same opinion that many others readers have. I find your cavalier and argumentative attitude rather surprising.

Please, mfarris70, I just deleted nasty comments you made about the podcast co-hosts the other day. Don't play that "I find your attitude" blah blah blah mess with me. Ninety-nine percent of what you have to say about what we do on this blog and podcast is nasty, yet you come here day after day. You are more than welcome to be here, post and be constructively critical, but you and I both know that is usually not the case.

Since you know so much, and have so much advice about our "business model", as you posted the other day, then go start mfarris70soaps.com. We are not in the business of keeping nobody who don't wanna be kept.

None taken harlee. Always enjoy your comments. Smile

And you are right, we come here to find news ... something new, something exciting. Well at least we two are. Wink

ANYWAYS, this post is about people's first impressions of RKK's return as Stavros. Let's get back to that.

Jamey: WHAT?! I didn't make any comments about Podcast hosts and have never in fact watched your podcasts. Is it possible for someone to jack my account? At the very least you have me confused with someone else. I make an effort to post positive comments every time! I absolutely love your sight and your work, I'm just trying to express my opinion on the RKK matter.

RKK truly is what others have said: sex on a stick! He is SO HOT! I wish he'd kill off Luke! If his stay is short I'm going to be so disappointed.

So far so good with RKK, but his scenes were contrasted by what a jackass A.J. was today. His glee and gloating over the havoc Michael sleeping with Brenda would cause Carly and Sonny was disgusting. He almost completely ignored the anguish it was causing his son, and continually went back to how happy it was making himself. Today's scenes alone prove to me that A.J. is no father.

My apologies, I misspoke when I referred to this RKK business as a "spoiler alert." Don't want to drag it out any more, I got caught up in the drama which is never a good thing online.

"not in the business of keeping anybody that doesn't want to be kept"

I watched Poetic Justice just the other night, and that line stood out to me for some reason. Now I know why...the LORD was dealing with me. LOL.

As for RKK, never saw him on GH before...didn't watch him on Days. But he's good...at least I think.

I was actually thinking a similar thought when Luke and Laura woke up in bed: I wish they could dispatch Luke (or send him to Shady Pines and hire a day player to where that toupe in a rocking chair) and just give us some solo Laura.

LOVE Starvos...He is a magnificent Whackadoodle...So fine to look at...and crazy enough to think nothing was wrong about trying to kill his own son. He is going to be very entertaining. Laughing out loud

I read the article before I saw the show and I was so excited to get to the end just to see him....I was just a touch upset that I knew before I got to watch but the payoff was worth it. RKK is hot hot hot!!!!! I am loving my show right now!

I had to do some homework on Stavros and them crazy Cassadine family along why Brenda and Carly hate it each other? I love to hear the DC Crew break down on the Cassadine family and Brenda vs Carly-

It just goes to show you, put a Cassadine on ice for awhile and when they un-thaw, you get a whole new level of crazy! I don't think any other actor has cornered the market in reinvention of a role than RKK's Stavros. No matter how many times we get him, it's never tired! He always returns a tad more unhinged each time. I guess that comes with the Dain Bramage!

Helena laying stiff on that table was creepy! Like, awesome sauce creepy!

Considering the HELL that Sonny & Carly put AJ through over Michael years ago, it was totally in character for him to take joy in what happened. We all did, because its good soap. If the shoe was on the other foot, believe me, Sonny & Carly would be grinning like Cheshire cats over AJ's anguish. If AJ wasn't a good father, he wouldn't have warned Michael about his drinking.

As for the "spoiler" thing, some of y'all need to chill TF out. When I live tweet GH, I do it from my mentions, THEN I go back & view everyone else's tweets about the show. Besides, when a show is on FIRE like GH, I wouldn't give a damn if the next 3 months was spoiled, I'm still gonna watch every day & get my life. You don't wanna be spoiled, stay y'all nosy asses off the Internet until the episode is viewed.
