HomeTVAll My ChildrenSNL Reveals What a Soap Opera on The Weather Channel Would Look Like Jamey Giddens April 15, 2013 All My Children, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, One Life to Live, Saturday Night Live, Stormy Skies, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and The Restless 6 Comments You can tell soaps are in vogue again, simply by witnessing how often they're being spoofed by comedians. This past weekend, Saturday Night Live did a sketch featuring host Vince Vaughan starring in the Weather Channel's premiere sudser, Stormy Skies. I'd put it on my DVR! Watch the sudsy insanity ensue after the jump. 6 Responses harlee490 April 15, 2013 HeHe …this is hilarious! Yeppers soaps haven’t gotten this much attention in years! I loved the line about “plenty of muscles on both fronts and moving south we have a good 8-10 inches, moving over here we have 2 inches with little precipitation” LMAO The name “Stormy Skies” actually sounds like it could be a soap’s name…loved it! I think if the Weather Channel attempted a soap, it wouldn’t be much different than what SNL presented. The Weather Channel has already ventured into docu-series territory, so it wouldn’t shock me.
