HomeTVThe Bold and the BeautifulBrad Bell on Jeanne Cooper: “A Genuine Person, Gifted Performer, Good Friend to All” Jamey Giddens May 8, 2013 3 Comments The Bold and the Beautiful showrunner Brad Bell got his start in showbiz writing for his father, the late Bill Bell, for characters like Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) on The Young and the Restless. It's for this reason, and many more, the passing of Cooper has to be a trying, poignant time for Bell and his entire family. Bell released a statement earlier today on the passing of his family friend and colleague: "Jeanne Cooper – A genuine person, gifted performer, good friend to all. Never before and never again. A true artist and legend. She will be missed. My thoughts and my love are with her family. – Bradley Bell – Executive Producer and Head Writer, The Bold and the Beautiful." Our thoughts and prayers remain with Cooper's family, friends and co-workers, as well as the legions of fans she touched as "Mrs. C". 3 Responses harlee490 May 8, 2013 You know Jeanne & Bill has lot of catching up to do…Bill always called them as their characters not their real names and Bill is probably asking “Kay what the hell is going on with my show? Who’s the nitwits in charge now and who’s writing this crap…? :O Nothing like how Bill wrote a drunken cooter brown Kay! One a blessed note they are having a wonderful visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ps-ax4NW4A Log in to Reply Jorpa May 9, 2013 Harlee, I think I love you!
