HomeTVAll My ChildrenIs Erica Kane FINALLY on Her Way Home to Pine Valley on All My Children? Jillian Bowe May 8, 2013 All My Children, Deadly Affairs, Devious Maids, Investigation Discovery, Lifetime, News, Prospect Park, Soap Opera, The Online Network 11 Comments Will Susan Lucci finally make an appearance on the online version of All My Children? In an interview with The Los Angeles Times, La Lucci revealed she and Prospect Park are in talks for her to reprise legendary diva Erica Kane. Lucci stated: "We are going to be meeting in the next couple of weeks, all in the same room to put our books on the table and see what we can come up with." Please, Soap Gods let Big Mama Kane return to put that womanish grandbaby Miranda (Denyse Tonz) in her place! When Lucci was asked what she thought of the cursing on TOLN's AMC—and if she would partake—the actress quipped: "Well, I don't know, it would all depend on what they wrote for me and how organic it would be, she said playfully. Erica Kane seemed to get her point across pretty well without cursing!" Photo credit: ABC 11 Responses DevinMissesOLTL May 9, 2013 Erica Kaaaaane!!! Come on Doooooooooooooooown!!!! Log in to Reply Katiebug9624 May 9, 2013 I don’t understand the backlash on cursing good grief. Log in to Reply Angie Lucy May 9, 2013 Please don’t screw this up, Prospect Park! Log in to Reply Jeff May 9, 2013 I think the cursing has been fine, and in character and context, but I don’t see Erica as someone who needs to be cursing, like Viki shouldn’t curse. It would probably be out of place. Separately, please make this happen PP. AMC needs Erica, and Tad, and Jackson! OLTL could use some Alex, Echo, Marty, Tina, and some Roxy, hopefully all can show up when the time is right. Log in to Reply NathanHastingsSr. May 9, 2013 Clutching my pearls! Maybe because they do it at least 4 times in each episode? Most times, it’s forced and out of place. That’s my problem with it. Log in to Reply larkin May 9, 2013 So the real question becomes what will Miranda call her? Log in to Reply giogio May 9, 2013 JEFF – I saw Darnell Williams and he said when they first starte taping they cursed alot, but they have since toned it down. I really need to see Susan Lucci back in some way. Things are too quiet. I can really feel the loss of these people who arent there, but it makes me feel good to watch. At the beginning I liked OLTL better, cause it was very hard to get used to the 5 year span, but I dont even think of it any more, and hopefully little by little we will be seeing more of our favorites. Billy Clyde, that is a score. Now if beautiful Susan can get back, well then here we go. Log in to Reply Ryan-Scott May 9, 2013 You know Agnes Nixon probably has 4 or 5 ideas for Erica. Bring it I say!!!    Log in to Reply luverica May 9, 2013
So the real question becomes what will Miranda call her?
larkin, I really hope they let Miranda call her grandmother or at least “Nana” or some other cooler sounding alternative name for grandmother. It really bothered me that Susan Lucci, producers, whomever, made the call, not to allow Erica to be referred to as a grandmother in any sort of way. I always thought that would’ve gave some much needed growth and maturity to a character that I love very, very much. Plus, just the thought of having Brooke teasingly calling Erica “Grandma” to her face would be just too funny. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
