HomeTVThe Young and The RestlessVictor Catches Billy in a Lie on The Young and the Restless Luke Kerr May 16, 2013 The Young and The Restless, TV Recap 10 Comments Traci (Beth Maitland) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) continued to rub each other the wrong way. Phyllis tried to throw in the white flag, Jack’s (Peter Bergman) kid sister wasn't receptive. Jack walked in and Phyllis immediately started giving him a long, passionate kiss, just to annoy Traci. The looks Traci and Jack gave each other when Phyllis left were priceless. Jack informed his sibling that Phyllis had been there for him during the worst time in his life — when he was addicted to painkillers. Will that bit of information be enough to soften Traci's stance on Red? Victor (Eric Braeden) wanted to know where Adam (Michael Muhney) came up with the money to buy out Newman Enterprises' shareholders. Adam asked Victor to trust him. Victor said he was beginning to question his son's judgment about a lot of things. As Victor was leaving, Sharon (Sharon Case) showed up at Adam’s door. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) called Billy (Billy Miller) to see when he was coming home. Billy, who was at a poker game, said he’d be home soon. Later, Victor caught Billy leaving the Athletic Club and overheard Billy telling Victoria a lie. Billy covered, by saying he was there to pick up his wife’s favorite treat, but Victor didn’t believe him. Phyllis bumped into Avery (Jessica Collins) at Crimson Lights and immediately spotted Avery’s missing engagement ring. The sisters quickly started sparring. Phyllis called a spade a spade, saying Nick (Joshua Morrow) was having second thoughts about his engagement. Avery tried to gloss over the topic, but Phyllis wouldn't let her. Leslie (Angell Conwell), Tyler (Redaric Williams) and Neil (Kristoff St. John) toasted Gus’ (Tony Todd) memory and talked about the siblings' childhood. Devon (Bryton James) interrupted Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily’s (Christel Khalil) romantic dinner. After he left, Cane and Lily returned home and made love. 10 Responses yojoromo4469 May 16, 2013 Pretty boring stuff, Cane and Lily, as they are a drag to start with. Terrible recycled crap with Billy and gambling yet again. All and all, yesterday was a boring day. One good thing, no DYLAN. Log in to Reply pennywise555 May 16, 2013 I’ll bet Victor is behind Billy’s return to gambling. The restaurant owner inviting Billy to a game had to be a set-up. I’m so sick of Victor being Billy’s only extended family. What happened to his relationship with his mother (Jill (-for new viewers)) and Katherine. It’s like they don’t exist. Maybe Katherine will leave Billy some Chancellors Shares in her will which will force Jill and Billy to work together. Billy & Jill battling Cane (maybe he’s Katherine new-found bio-grandchild) for control of CI? I’m into the Lauren/Carmine/Micheal and the Summer paternity story the rest I’m starting to Fast Forward. I could care less about Rose,Leslie, Avery, Dylan, and Chelsea. If Chelsea going to be a trouble maker she should OWN it. This milk toast character, who’s always pregnant, following Chloe’s scheming ideas is ridiculous. Log in to Reply richalan67 May 16, 2013 LOVE Chelsea but not her lying to Dylan. I think that they have returned to the Billy addiction because MAB never addressed it truly. I do like Leslie and that sl because it is introducing us to a new family. People have screamed for diversity and when they give it to us, people say they don’t care. They have woven the brother and sister in with the veteran family very nicely. I guess I am in the minority here but I really like Cane and Lily. Log in to Reply pferrando May 16, 2013 I thought yesterday’s show was great. We got to see a lot of the vet characters interacting, being a family, which is a welcome change. Noticeably still missing though is Nikki, and that needs to be addressed. She should be on at least as often as Victor. I liked seeing Lily and Cane (sorry folks they are a believable couple), and then it was actually nice to have Devon and Lily and then Neil on together. But I do think it is time to write off Devon. I like that the end seems to be near for Kevin and Chloe. I like them apart, so hopefully we’ll get to keep them. And who’s taking pics of Leslie and her brother. I’m interested. Hopefully this one won’t have a poorly written ending like Wheeler’s story. Lastly, it is SO good to see Traci. I’ve always loved that character. And I know some people are over seeing John, but it was so appropriate and touching, and to see Peter B. tear up. It was a great family scene. Intrigued re the envelope Nick was holding at the end of Monday’s episode – I’m sure it is the real paternity papers re Summer’s biological father. Log in to Reply Scout May 16, 2013 I just wish every time Victor mumbled “Billy Boy”, someone would kick him hard in the nuts. Maybe he’d stop. It’s annoying. And I don’t even like that little prick Billy. Log in to Reply bishbay May 16, 2013 I’ve honestly never been able to stand how Victoria stands there like a mannequin while Victor shittalks Billy, HER HUSBAND, to his face. Call me confrontational, but no relationship, not even with a parent, would cause me to stand passive while my partner’s getting run down. It makes me hate Victor (more) and disinvest totally from Victoria/Billy because at the end of the day she clearly has no loyalty to him. Log in to Reply TraceyAbbot101 May 16, 2013 love Traci and Fire Crotch – great things are gonna happen there. This, in my opinion, is the most interesting that Chloe & Kevin have ever been. If looks could kill… Log in to Reply tashikins May 16, 2013 Always loved Traci. Log in to Reply tedew May 17, 2013 Scout re #6 and bishbay re #7 … both completely right on!
