Fen Tells Michael and Lauren to Split on The Young and the Restless

Billy (Billy Miller) gave his big sis Traci (Beth Maitland) a tour of his new restaurant. While he was showing her around, she admitted she had her doubts about Billy and Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) marriage surviving.

Jack (Peter Bergman) showed up and the resulting sibling scene was such a pleasure to watch. Genoa City needs more Abbotts.

Lauren (Tracey Bregman) went to Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) for help. She asked her friend to help convince Michael (Christian LeBlanc) to give her another chance. Phyllis said she wasn’t going to judge Lauren. Fen asked Carmine if he thought his parents should get a divorce.

Traci went to Phyllis’ condo, where she bumped into Lauren. Lauren apologized once again for bullying her when they were girls. She asked if what she’d done had residual effects on Traci. Traci said most of the time it didn’t, but there was a recent time when she was about to eat dessert and remembered Lauren’s taunts.

Traci then went to Phyllis and apologized for not giving her a fair shake with Jack.

Fen (Max Ehrich) told Carmine (Marco Dapper) his dad said to stay away from the bartender. When Carmine asked why, Fen brought up what Carmine had done to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson).

Carmine said he was a changed man and reminded Fen of how he'd help him with the bullies. Fen softened and began discussing his parents marriage with his new friend.

Fen said he got the impression his parents were only staying together because of him. Carmine shared his own childhood experience of growing up with two parents who couldn't stand one another.  With a little subtle manipulation, Carmine convinced Fen he didn't want Lauren and Michael to stay together for his sake.

Adam (Michael Muhney) told Victor (Eric Braeden) he knew Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) baby was his. When his father pressed him, Adam admitted he was going off of gut instinct, because he didn’t have proof.

Jack stopping by Adam's penthouse put a quick end to father/son bonding time. Adam told Jack he was still in love with Chelsea, but couldn’t have her if it meant losing his father.

Jack told Adam of how devastating it had been to learn Phyllis was carrying Nick's (Joshua Morrow) baby—and not his—all those years ago. It's nice how The Young and the Restless is using Summer's (Hunter King) paternity to parallel what's going on with Chelsea's unborn child.

Victoria and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) talked about Victoria's latest departure from Newman Enterprises. If you ask me, The Young and the Restless needs a lot more Nikki and a lot less Dylan (Steven Burton).

Paul (Doug Davidson) pulled Michael into his office and the two men again talked about Lauren’s betrayal. Michael revealed he was only staying with Lauren because of Fen. The moment his son went off to college, the Baldwin's marriage would be over. Considering how rarely soap children actually go to college, Michael is in for a LONG marriage to Lauren.

Fen called Michael and Lauren to Crimson Lights, where he told his parents he was on to their act. He told them not to stay together on his account.

Phyllis paid Carmine a not-so-friendly visit at Billy's restaurant. Someone should warn Carmine about how Red likes to run over people who get in her way — literally.

OK ending to the week. Was expecting to see alittle bit of Summer and Kyle, but I guess that was not to be. Nice to see Nikki, too bad it's just a cameo role, from here on out. Oh well.

I'm just waiting for Lauren and Carmine to hit the sheets again and for Nick,Jack, Phyllis & everyone to find out Summer is Jacks. The rest I don't care about until Katherine Chancellors funeral story begins.

I agree this show needs more Abbotts, the writers try to make the Newmans relatable as a family but I don't buy it. The Abbotts seem real and very engaging one would think Jill would realize that and have Traci come back full time. Traci is the conscience of the family and Lauren needs a friend of her own.

I enjoyed Thursday's episode - it was a good mix of the veterans and the newbies (Fen & Carmine). Best part: Traci & Lauren venting about their past and whether Lauren caused any residual fallout with her past bullying in their adult years.

Lauren should have a friend in her new sister Jill. Jill would have been the perfect addition to the Carmine/Lauren/Micheal story not only because she's family, but because she's been in Laurens shoes before. I would have loved to see Phyllis's scene with Carmine played with Jill instead.

Jill doesn't get any screen time with her son Billy so I doubt she'll ever get any with Lauren. Maybe for endgame they should go back to Jill being Kay's daughter after all. Not only did Tucker arrange to have fake DNA tests represent that he was Kay's son, he also made them connect Jill to Lauren to get Jill out of his way. I'd love for all of MAB's mess to be found a fraud.

Oh, how good it would be if Fen started to fall for Carmine at this point! It would be such soapy goodness. Carmine could use little Fen's crush on him to his advantage, to further his agenda to dismantle the Baldwin family.

Summer is disgusting and annoying. Don't like her at all, especially this actress.

I'm kind of surprised Traci went to apologize to Phyllis. Why?! Her coming to GC was supposed to all about being against Phyllis and Jack, snide remarks and all.

I'm glad they are on good terms with Lauren, though.

They need to EITHER finally get the Abbotts back or have an interacting like a real family with breakfasts and all, and be a prominent opponent to the Newmans - or then just write them out. They should stop with this middle-ground action. Why not have Billy & Victoria move into the mansion with Jack, and make Vicky a full-fledged Abbott. She could be so incensed and tired of her family's shenanigans it would be totally plausible. And get Brenda Epperson back to the screen as Ashley. Then, she could pick up where Eileen Davidson left off, and have that steamy affair with Cane that ED's Ashley should have had.

Yes, Jill needs to go back to being her daughter. This crap of being a Fenmore just has never worked.

However, a little bird once told me that JFP never saw in borderline incest story that she doesn't like so here is a scenario that might be brewing, Obviously Devon has a thing for his adoptive sis, now when Kay dies, he inherits, or there is a battle for it between Cane and Devon, and you all can figure out where I am going with this.

HOWEVER, that has NEVER been the story in 37 years. It was always Jill and Katherine, and that is how it should be Jill either getting it lock stock and barrel, or PC3/4, with Nina, which obviously is not where they are going(see testicle lock box comment). So we can only guess at this point.

Everyone wants BE to come back as Ashley, but somehow I just don't see her doing that.

I would love for ED to play both parts, why can't it be Sony. Oh, so they can pay some dude no long term viewer gives a rats behind about.

I have to agree with YORYLA, in regards to Summer being disgusting and annoying. I thought the part where she was leaving for dinner with Kyle, when she made sure she had a condom, wish really pathetic, we already know she wants Kyle in her pants and we don't need to be reminded by showing a condom, it has always been obvious she wants to bed him and it was a dumb ass reminder or her stupidity and she is a terrible actor.

I am surprised but if I subject DYLAN from all the scenes in Y&R this past week I actually liked the show.

I ACTUALLY LIKED THE SHOW.

Sure the gym scene just showed billy Dylan and nick to be hypocrites since dylan has no friends (months on the show and he still feels as if he just arrived) nick judges without thinking abt what he has done in his life and billy, well billy makes mistakes everytime he is left alone. But Adam made that scene with his snarkiness.

Even Victoria looked good because we finally see Nikki.

Tracey is my all time favorite character on here and I hope that her husband comes to town so we can see drama for her. I want her to write another book. Be active and a part of all their lives as well as having on of her own.

Neil's mystery is turning out to have me wondering if drucilla is on her way back and I'm LOVING THAT!!! Can't wait for the reveal.

My only gripe is how victor n Adam bought back Newman with jack and tucker holding a huge block of stock.

Over wise I liked the show!! I actually liked it.

(Hint for those who didn't like dylan... Press fast forward and drink each scene he is in. Makes it that much more fun.)

I used to love those Abbot breakfast(Mamie should be served now though not serving. Where is Mamie any way?).Hunter is annoying and Jill should be Kay's daughter and should inherit the mansion and company. It was fitting that Phyllis speak with Carmine since she is Michael's and Lauren's best friend and they have supported her countless times. Today was good. Can't wait to see Cane's striken face again next week. Lovely Lily will soon step out.

Given Michael's checkered past and then what he's made of himself since because of forgiveness, I'm really starting to get very annoyed with his hardline stance with Lauren right now. Come on Michael it was (is?) just an affair.

It has always seemed rather homoerotic between Fen and Carmine, so a liaison involving those three would be interesting but probably highly unlikely.

Phyllis the ultimate hypocrite being sent to harness Carmine was also rather annoying.

Michael and Lauren will separate and go down the road towards divorce.

All the while, Carmine will continue his desires to have Lauren which she wants nothing more to do with.

Just as they are about to divorce, Lauren goes missing after having a HUGE fight with Carmine who has become obsessed.

Michael will save Lauren from the clutches of muscled psycho and they will get back together.

HONESTLY, I spelled it out BUT I CAN"T WAIT TO SEE IT

LOVED watching BM, PB and BM together except I wanted to know exactly how PB broke Billy up as they talked about Traci moving in with Billy & Victoria. Something seemed to catch BM off guard and it was adorable.

May was a good month for the show, I thought. Seemed to be heavier on the core characters. I'm still liking the affair storyline. Loved the scene between Phyllis and Carmine.

More Abbotts! This is most we've seen of Traci in a while. I hope she's more recurring than just short return visits.
