HomeTVABCEx-Young and Restless and General Hospital Vixen Made a Regular on Blue Bloods Jillian Bowe June 5, 2013 ABC, Blue Bloods, CBS, Comings & Goings, General Hospital, News, Soap Opera, The Young and The Restless 7 Comments Former General Hospital and The Young and the Restless star Marisa Ramirez has landed a contract role on Blue Bloods. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ramirez has been bumped up from recurring and will stay on the CBS procedural as Det. Maria Baez, partner of Donnie Wahlberg’s Det. Danny Reagan. Ramirez told the trade paper: It all still feels a bit surreal, Ramirez tells THR. From the first day, everyone was so welcoming. Working with Donnie and the cast and crew of Blue Bloods can spoil a girl. Total pros, each and every one, and all so supportive. I just enjoyed every minute. Truly, I never dreamed I would be coming back as a regular. To say I am grateful is an understatement. Ramirez joined Blue Bloods as a replacement for Jennifer Esposito, who was on medical leave from the series, after she was diagnosed with celiac disease. Esposito eventually left the series. 7 Responses yojoromo4469 June 5, 2013 Glad to hear this attractive young lady is now full time on a very good show.
