Deidre Hall and Rick Springfield to Receive Stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame

What do the guy who wanted "Jessie's Girl" and an actress, who once levitated over a mattress, with glowing, lime-green eyes have in common? They're both daytime soapers who are getting their own stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Committee Chairman David Green has revealed Days of Our Lives' Deidre Hall and General Hospital's Rick Springfield will both receive stars in 2014.
Actress/singer/dancer/producer Jennifer Lopez; movie stars Orlando Bloom, Ray Dolby, Sally Field, Jack Harris, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Liam Neeson, Paul Mazursky and Tom Sherak; TV icons Dabney Coleman, Kaley Cuoco, Claire Danes, Giancarlo Esposito, Cheryl Hines, Don Mischer and Tavis Smiley and musicians Katy Perry and Holland-Dozier-Holland will also be honored. Additionally, slain, hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur and Saturday Night Live's Phil Hartman will receive their stars posthumously.

Congratulations Deidre!!! Well deserved, she is a true Daytime icon! :)

Kaley Cuoco??? LMAO! What has she done to deserve that! This is supposed to be about legends and icons.

    Congratulations to them both!

Now if only NBC would try to promote Days by interviewing Deidre on the Today show or even have her on as a guest-host for a day or two. She would really lend some class to that sinking ship captained by Matt Lauer.
