OWN Doubles Episode Order For The Haves and The Have Nots

Get ready for more blackmail, sex and scheming, Savannah-style. OWN has doubled its episode order for Tyler Perry's soap opera, The Haves and The Have Nots. The vehicle, which stars One Life to Live's Tika Sumpter as a call girl who targets a wealthy, Southern family, has been picked up for a total of 32 installments.

"Naturally, it is wonderful to have the network's first scripted series score so resoundingly," said OWN  President Sheri Salata. "Tyler's fans and OWN viewers have responded to this guilty pleasure in record numbers, and we are happy to give them more of a good thing."

The Haves and The Have Nots airs Tuesday nights at 9 pm EST on OWN.

They always show the repeat episode before they show the new one.

The pacing and direction of the show is bad but Tika makes it watchable. Also the actress who plays the wife’s best friend is bad. She can play uppity good but the director needs to work with her when it comes to showing emotion

I’d like to watch this show but don’t have cable. Is it streamed by any chance? I’d like to see Paula Deen do a guest appearance!

I’ve actually become hooked on this show. Crystal Fox and Renee Lawless are my favorites. Acting wise, they always bring it. I’ve never been the biggest Tika Sumpter fan but I do like the way she’s playing Candace. Granted the haves (Cryers and Harringtons) are no angels but Candace is a true thug (her mother’s words) bitch. Yet, I’m ready to see her character get taken down a peg or two.

I’ve always liked John Schneider, especially as Pa Kent on Smallville, but the main physical attraction for me is that FINE Aaron O’Connell as troubled son Wyatt Cryer. Lord have mercy that man is hot and the acting, while a little wet behind the ears, is not that bad and has the potential to get better.

    This show is trash.

    I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Based on solely the promos, I had my initial misgivings about it. It’s production values are not at all superior to the daytime soaps and the acting is a bit iffy at times; but it has somehow become my No.1 guilty pleasure on TV.

I should have known Oprah wouldn’t let me down.

So excited for Tika, Tyler, Oprah and the rest of the cast. I was hoping that it would get picked up for more after last nights episode. Bring in more characters and sets. Go OWN and TP productions. Make it the Y&R of OWN.
