Sonny Lays Down the Law With Adrienne on Days of Our Lives

Eric (Greg Vaughan) was in his hospital bed having dreams about what happened at the hotel. He woke up to see Daniel (Shawn Christian) standing over him. When Daniel asked if he remembered what happened to him, he said yes. Eric recalled something going very wrong, but not what. Daniel asked him if he’d eaten, drank or smelled anything unusual that might be connected to the poisoning. Eric remembered showering, and then passing out. He woke up in pain, and to Nicole finding him there.

Also, at the hospital, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was trying to explain to Brady (Eric Martsolf) what happened to Eric. She revealed Daniel believed Eric had been poisoned.  Later, Nicole and Brady’s conversation turned to their relationship, and then Kristen. Brady admitted he called Kristen the day before. Nicole told him he had to be strong.

Adrienne (Judi Evans) ranted to Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) about Justin (Wally Kurth) taking Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) case.
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) dropped by Will (Chandler Massey) and Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) apartment to see his granddaughter.

Chad (Casey Deidrick) and Cameron (Nathan Owens) sparred over Abby (Kate Mansi) some more, blah, blah, blah.

Kristen’s (Eileen Davidson) scientist returned to the DiMera mansion, where Kristen continued to rip him a new one. The man better hope Eric never remembers, because Kristen threatened his life if Eric's memory about the poisoning returned. She warned him not to run to a far corner of the planet where he thought she or Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) couldn’t find him.

Adrienne spotted Will and Sonny eating ice cream in Horton Square, and didn’t look happy about it. Will didn’t tell Sonny what Adrienne had said about him and his mom.  Sonny tricked his mom into revealing what she said. However, Adrienne didn’t really regret any of it. Sonny told her if she made him choose between Will and her, the choice would be easy. However, after her son stormed off, Adrienne called and left a message telling Sonny she loved him no matter what. She also said she’d try to back him up in every way. I love having so much Judi Evans on my TV screen.

Brady showed up at the hospital to see Eric. As they were talking inside Eric’s room, Kristen arrived at the hospital under the guise of dropping off papers for a hospital board meeting.  Of course, Kristen ran into Nicole, who demanded to know what she was doing at the hospital.

Adrienne needs to stay out of it. Does she forget her family is just as dysfuctional if not more.

I think it's about to go from bad to worse for Sonny/Will and Sami. If memory serves, around the same time Chad "shared" that video of Sami attacking Bernardi with Sonny on his phone, Sonny shared a video with Adrienne--maybe it was of the baby, can't remember right off the top of my head--and I GUARANTEE when he did that video got mistakenly put on Adrienne's phone and I have a feeling once she sees it it's gonna be a whole world of hurt for Sami, not to mention the boys' relationship. Wouldn't surprise me as this point if she tried to blackmail Will into ending it with Sonny or she'd go to the police with the video. LOVE Judi Evans but not liking this side of Adrienne.

I'm still annoyed with Adrienne for what she said to Will when he was in the hospital. But Judi Evans was amazing in her monologue/call to Sonny! Beer

Lucas talking to his granddaughter was so cute. So was Theo when he was talking to his Uncle Chad.

I can't say that I'm invested in the Cameron/Abigail/Chad triangle. Cameron is beyond boring. However, Days has done a Chad and Abigail pairing before and last time they were together it seemed like they spent most of their time talking about Dannifer--you know when she wasn't telling him how awful his family is. Yes, I know the majority of adult Dimeras are bad guys, so maybe she had a point, but it made Abigail sound so judgmental and annoying. They need to give Kate Mansi something better to do.

I'm catholic and although no siblings or relatives who are priests, I did grow up around them due to the fact my parents had several friends who were priests.

So... I don't watch days religiously... No pun intended... But does anyone who might have called him Eric before the collar now call him FATHER ERIC? What abt Abby or Daniel or even Cameron? Do they call him Eric or father?

I love Judi Evans and can't wait for her and Justin to get their own set because that would mean contract!!

But I wish that her story, although sweet, with sonny was meatier. I just think when you look at all the story with Abby (none catch fire) or even Nicole with Eric, that it would be great to see the next evolution of story for will/sonny be with Adrienne n Justin. Sami can take a rest or get involved with corporate espionage or something after getting off but I would love to see Adrienne the star of her next story and sonny filling it in with Justin.

I'm loving having Judi Evans so much more on my screen. And I'm glad that not everyone is so on board with Will & Sonny - where would be the drama in that. I just hope Adrienne doesn't take it too far, because in that case she WILL alienate Sonny.

Omg, I didn't think I could love Kristen more, but I just do! Her scenes with the doctor were fierce! And her looks at the hospital, when checking the patient chart were diabolical. Yet, she managed to take a second to remember Brady before checking up on Eric. Hee hee!

I tend to agree with Adrienne. Will and his family are constantly involved in one legal, moral, or medical drama after another (if they weren't, we wouldn't have a show Smile). Compared to them, the Kiriakis and Johnson families are the very model of stability. Sonny's main function in Will's life up to now has been to hold his hand and tell him things will be OK.

I also don't think most attractive couples under age twenty-five are so ready to shack up.

Hi PJC....if memory serves me I have heard Eric's mom, Marlena refer to Eric as "Father Eric".

Adrienne's family both sides have done far worse things than Will & Sami have. Adrienne is a hypocrite and has selective amnesia.

@PJC: I've been watching on a fairly regular basis lately, and most of the time, Eric's family/friends don't refer to him as "Father Eric." It's just "Eric," or at least that's the case with Sami, Marlena, Roman, and Will (who calls him Uncle Eric). Other characters who have a history with Eric, like Nicole and Hope, seem to switch off between "Father Eric" and "Eric" depending on the formality of the situation.

Again, love Adrienne and JE, but I think this same thing every time she starts in on Will & Sami.
