HomeTVComedy CentralJames Franco to Have His Chestnuts Roasted By Comedy Central Luke Kerr July 10, 2013 Comedy Central, General Hospital, Movies, Pop Confidential, TV 3 Comments Former General Hospital guest star James Franco (ex-Franco) is about to get the Comedy Central treatment. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Comedy Central Roast of James Franco will be taped in August and premiere on Labor Day. "If only James Franco was a more successful, multihyphenated, incessant creative risk taker in different media, he'd be the perfect person to roast. Oh well … I suppose we'll just have to make do," Comedy Central's Kent Alterman, president, content development and original programming, said in a statement Wednesday. 3 Responses luverica July 11, 2013 I consider James Franco one of my favorite actors and I like him as a person as well. There’s just something about him that keeps it real. I hope he knows what he’s in for. It takes major balls to be a Comedy Central roastee. The New Hollywood is a pile of shit swarming with flies. And who knew his whim to be on GH a couple of years ago would continue to drag the show down the dumper even now? Thanks, asshole.
