The CW’s Whose Line is it Anyway, hosted by The Talk’s Aisha Tyler, premiered last night and pulled in ratings strong enough to beat an ABC original hour of programming, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The revival of improv comedy Whose Line Is It Anyway? surprised on the CW. The series topped an ABC original in the hour, averaging a 1.1 rating with adults 180-49. in the hour. It also marked the network's most-watched premiere since Arrow with 2.9 million viewers. Whose Line is it Anyway also stars Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles. 3 Responses keanna July 18, 2013 Not surprised, the original on ABC did very well despite being up against Friends, and the repeats did really well on ABC Family. I was a bit on the fence because I always enjoyed Drew Carey, but I thought Aisha was a good host as well.
