HomeTVABCSoap Veteran Nathan Purdee Has ‘Tainted Dreams’ Jillian Bowe August 2, 2013 ABC, CBS, Comings & Goings, General Hospital, News, Tainted Dreams, The Young and The Restless 8 Comments The Young and the Restless and One Life to Live alum Nathan Purdee is returning to the world of soaps, but this time he’s doing it on the web. Purdee, best known for his roles on as the original Nathan Hastings on Y&R and D.A. Hank Gannon on OLTL, is set to star in Tainted Dreams. Purdee will play Ethan Washington, the president of daytime network television. All My Children supporting producer and Tainted Dreams showrunner, Sonia Blangiardo stated: I needed someone with gravitas and experience playing strong, uber-confident men, and Nathan Purdee was at the top of my list. We are very fortunate to have Nathan join our cast. The character of ‘Ethan Washington’ is overconfident, never in doubt, a real force to be reckoned with, feared by other executives, actors, and crew. Tainted Dreams is slated to debut winter 2014. I just found out about this by curiously doing research on my family. Though now that I think about it, it’s not all that surprising because I am always the last one in the family to know anything.
