Getting better? how?

With endlessly repetitive ten-minute scenes and the most pathetic representation of a gay man since Suddenly Last Summer?

Did you see when Loni Love guest hosted Chelsea Lately on Tuesday? At the beginning of the show she was watching this show and you could see her reaction on a split screen. The gay character smelling the shirt of the hot white guy on there and Loni said she thought she was watching OWN and not Logo lol.

I agree, the show's stories are getting better. But I also agree that some of the scenes do drag out a bit...nevertheless, I look forward to every Tuesday night!

This adlibbed piece of Tyler Perry Shit. Where is the dialogue. Just turn the show into 30 min instead of an hour. Its a Ke$ha song on repeat during scenes. Although I will keep watching to see I Wyatt finds himself a homosexual.

I love how snobby soap fans have become.... not really!!! You guys have watched worse things and WORSE REPRESENTATIONS OF GAY MEN IN DAYTIME!!! Need I remind you of the MAB debacle with Adam and that dude.

It's a great show, it's been great from the beginning. Granted, the sets look a little cheap, but so do the sets on Days of our Lives. However, because the story is there, u don't really care!!! I look forward to it every Tuesday.

If u really want me to be honest, since Kay Alden is writing at B&B, let's fire Josh Griffith and let Tyler Perry write Y&R. He grew up watching, he most likely knows the history.

I don't watch...but 2 million viewers is excellent for OWN, and quite good for a "soap".

I never presume to speak for anybody except myself; and, FOR ME, nothing I've seen in daytime comes close to being as bad as what Tyler Perry has going on.

But I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't admit that I love trashy TV, for the same reasons some people rush to carwreck sites, so I'm still watching.Smile

SMH! I really get a kick reading the comments on here Lol! I still stand by my praise of this show, it truly is getting better. Better, meaning that it is better than when it started. Yes, there is more work to do but where isn't that the case on tv? Aside from a couple of the actors that I'm not crazy about, I'm digging HHN more and more. And regardless of what anyone says to the contrary, the ratings do speak volumes.

Yes, it's campy. I personally love campy...when it's done right. One Life to Live was the king of campy back in the 80's when I started watching soaps and they did it well! Tyler is on that track as well as adding real elements to the show, so it balances out well. I'm still tripping on folks saying the sets look cheap though?! They look more realistic than any of the current daytime soaps. With the exception of GH's hospital and Quartermain mansion sets. Days looks cheap and fake and it always has but the story is what we watch for...not the sets.

If its as bad as some of you say, it's a real easy fix...don't watch! Smile

Oh...and nothing was worse than Passions honey! New Years Eve went on for months and months! You talkin about slow repetitive dialogue, please?! That crap went on and on and on and got nowhere!

Oh yeah, the guy's still got it. Hell, every guy on the show is hotter than hell--hello, Aaron O'Connell(Wyatt) and Tyler Lepley(Benny) anyone?
Yeah, the sets look cheaper than a straight-to-Netflix horror movie and some of the "acting" is of an "acquired taste" to be sure--the girl who plays Amanda is definitely a baby who doesn't know where she is--but the stories are so soapy and trashy that it's fairly addictive(despite the fact that it's typical paint-by-numbers Tyler Perry).

Either way, hope the numbers continue to grow. I'm in it for the long haul.
