Log in to Reply tmac August 20, 2013 As long as his wardrobe consists entirely of that towel he can be as cray cray as he wants! Log in to Reply Yoryla August 20, 2013 Well this is gonna be good. But please, whatever you do, do NOT make him another one of Emily’s men! She already has three!!! I do NOT want to see this character sacrificed to the altar of Emily. And get Nolan a HUNK of a man! I kept waiting for the latter part of the season for Aiden to seduce Nolan, for whatever reason! Log in to Reply GHteenybopper August 20, 2013 [quote=Yoryla]Well this is gonna be good. Log in to Reply House of Plantagenet August 21, 2013 The thing is, Victoria’s son is suppose to be 40 and Hartley just does not look old enough to be 40. I thought Cameron Mathieson would have been a good choice as Patrick. Log in to Reply Mandolin August 21, 2013 sorry House of P. , Cameron M. is Not that good of an actor to be on Revenge – with all do respect , he’s not bad but the revenge crew is a few notches better. And whatever the age of the character, they usually cast younger or older than the actual age, not exactly what the character’s age is . Cameron M. would age Madeline Stowe too much, that why – in part- they casted a younger actor . my take. Maybe they should try him with Nolan? I wouldn’t be opposed… Log in to Reply soapjunkie88 August 21, 2013 Justin Hartley is 36 and eleven years older than Josh Bowman. I don’t know where the problem is. Should he show some gray hair or something to be age appropriate? Anyway I would be all for a Nolan/Patrick pairing. There aren’t that many girls around anyway. Charlotte is Patrick’s half sister and Emily the family’s sworn enemy who’s already involved with Daniel. Ashley is gone and so is Amanda. So Nolan would be a good choice. Log in to Reply House of Plantagenet August 21, 2013 I haven’t seen Justin Hartley act, so I hope he is good, but Madeline Stowe is a goddess. It should be a crime to look that gorgeous and have a body like that at 55! Log in to Reply blake3b August 21, 2013 Man he is still hot as hell! Log in to Reply bottomchef August 22, 2013 How many dumb cliches and soap tropes does revenge need to use? A never before mentioned long lost son of victoria arrives to spice things up. And then he becomes victoria’s favorite w/c makes daniel and charlotte resent him. Yawn. How many day soap operas have done this kind of storyline? There’s nothing new w/ this stupidity. Couldn’t they have cast a part African american actor for this role? How abt a part Asian american actor? And then have daniel and charlotte and other uppity hamptons friends of victoria look down at her for having a racial minority son? It would be very realistic for those snobby chars to be elitist and racist considering hamptons setting of revenge. But hollywood would never go there bec hollywood only portrays republicans and racial minorities as racist. Having victoria’s son be part racial minority would have been an organic way to create much needed racial diveristy on the show considering how takeda was killed off and that revenge’s only racial minority cast member is exiting the show. How horrid that ashley madekwe isn’t even getting her own exit storyline! Is ashley going to evaporate? Giggles. Her exit is going to most probably be referrenced off hand by 1 of the white chars. Revenge has added hartley who’s white yet the last thing the show needs is yet another white guy to pair w/ emily. There’s jack. And daniel. And white guy that killed takeda bec of course white guy is better at being a samurai than a Japanese char! And now victoria’s long son son is portrayed by horrid hartley from emily owens. Wooden van camp and now equally wooden hartley are on revenge. More white chars are on revenge. Yet what revenge really needs are more leading men of color and more divas of color! But that’s typical of revenge even when it began on season 1. There’s clearly a problem w/ revenge’s racial minority representation when its only racial minority cast member is an African british woman who is of course of lower economic status compared to majority of white cast members. While all of victoria’s help are portrayed by women of color. This exactly makes scandal the superior drama of the now w/ its racial minority chars while revenge is old and dated and quite frankly racist w/ its racial minority chars compared to scandal.
