Log in to Reply Nk3play2 August 22, 2013 I’m completely ignoring the fact that they renewed that shitty comedy, but, I am loving that they are definitely invested in The Haves and Have Nots. Log in to Reply SoapArmageddon August 22, 2013 Oprah has decided to put survival before quality. I’m her fan for life so I can’t find it in me to blame her for that. Log in to Reply brettyboy August 22, 2013 Love it! She should air OLTL and AMC in the timeslot next to it. Log in to Reply stoney07 August 22, 2013 I gotta admit, I’m not that big of a Tyler Perry fan, and I didn’t like this show at first. It kind of looks cheap, and the dialogue grated me at first, but slowly I’ve been turned around and I really actually enjoy the show. Yes, its over the top…and kind of ridiculous, but I’m enjoying it. EDIT: And can someone please tell the gay black guy to sit his happy ass down somewhere? I’m so tired of him making googly eyes at the other guy. I’m over him. Log in to Reply reggyreg August 22, 2013 BAD, JUST BAD. THE WRITING IS BAD. THE ACTING IS BAD. THE DIALOGUE IS BAD. THE DIRECTING IS BAD. TYLER PERRY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF FOR PUTTING THIS DRIVEL AND ABOUT 90 PERCENT OF THE OTHER THINGS HE HAS DONE IN PRODUCTION! Log in to Reply DevinMissesOLTL August 22, 2013 The Haves…Have it! LOL! I love this show and couldn’t be happier! Can’t miss TV for me! He’s almost bordering on psychotic……maybe that’s what is gonna happen. Log in to Reply appleridge August 23, 2013 Ok I love that Jeffrey who just happens to be gay is a manipulative bastard and wants Wyatt and it looks like he may get him We get o see gay people on TV not always written like Will Truman Thank you Log in to Reply Ryan-Scott August 23, 2013 As I have said, John S. turns me on like a fucking light bulb (ever since the little sweetie played Bo Duke) so I am not going anywhere! Log in to Reply SZima August 23, 2013 In order to survive, OWN has to appeal to the lowest common denominator? I’ll not watch the network until they start airing some intelligent programming. Log in to Reply pferrando August 23, 2013 I’m not sure I get the connection with the “lowest common denominator” comment. Because of the gay character’s behavior? Log in to Reply dutchess August 24, 2013 I like the show. It’s better that any of the daytime soaps IMO. At least there are black characters who are more than just window dressing, unlike what we see in daytime. I just can’t wait for Jim to find out that Candace encouraged Amanda to use her sexual wiles to get her rapist professor to give her a good grade. Jim is going to hold Candace partially responsible for his daughter’s rape, and that’s when the shit is REALLY gonna hit the fan. Log in to Reply SoapArmageddon August 24, 2013 I can deal with a show having a gay character who happens to be a manipulative bastard. In fact, those two saintly twinks on Days have begun to bore me to tears. What is disturbing is how truly pathetic and caricaturish this particular character is. I suppose if he’s written by a self-hating closet case, you really cannot expect anything else. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
