Will Sharon Stop Nick and Avery's Wedding on The Young and the Restless? (PROMO)

Sharon (Sharon Case) has been plotting, scheming and talking to ghosts about her ex-hubby Nick (Joshua Morrow), but will she stop his upcoming wedding to Avery (Jessica Collins)?

Meanwhile, Mrs. C. (Jeanne Cooper) may have died, but that doesn't mean she won't have a lasting impact on Genoa City after her will is read.

Watch this week's The Young and the Restless promo after the jump!

The only one who really is going to stop the impending nuptials is Avery herself. She is so together and sure about it all don't you know?

What I find most intriguing right now is just what does that music box really mean? It all seems rather suspect when the next scene after Victor gloating by Katherine's memorial plaque was Jill pondering the chirpy box. There is something much more going on there than meets the eye.

OMG...this is...IDK what to say.

I know Jill is owner of Chancellor Industries. That's why they didn't announce it yet.

So in the end, she got the company, she finally gets the chance to have the entire house...she made out pretty well.

I know everyone hates that Cane got the CEO position, but I'm not surprised. And I can tolerate it as long as Jill ends up being owner.

DEVON getting the other half of the estate...WOWZERS..!!!! I sense a story finally coming for him.

Nikki being raped in the cult, I'm just glad they correctly used a little history. Idk about this story yet....and I would've loved some flashbacks of the cult, as I wasn't even BORN or considered at the time...but at least the story is logical and is historically based.

Jess Walton is the shiznit. End of the story.

That's what I'm thinking too. I think ultimately we will learn that Katherine left Chancellor Industries to Jill. But...(just as in life) Katherine is going to make Jill jump through a thousand hoops to come to that realization.

If so, I hope her first order of business is to FIRE that con artist Cane and send him packing.

I hope Hillary takes it all from him. Every last cent! He's said over and over again that he does not want (or need) the money in the first place, anyway.

This is merely a plot device. There's no way Katherine would have left THAT much money to someone so young and inexperienced. Devon was only left that kind of money to LOSE IT ALL. Watch. Wink ;-)

LoL I agree!!!! Devon's inheritance is a plot device, BUT, I don't think he will lose it all. He might end up on the verge, forcing Lane, and Neil to swoop in a save him from Hillary and Mason. However, the problem is that Devon is newly single, and grieving. When they do finally stop Hillary, I think it will be too late. Devon will have fallen for her, and Hillary will have fallen for him, Mason will be bitter and angry.

I'm not so sure. The recent Y&R regimes have not allowed a woman to be CEO much less OWN a major conglomerate. MAB even tried to take CI away from Kay. The last time Jill rubbed elbows with the men, & was any type of power player in GC, was under LML. I see no signs of liberation from 1950 in any other of the female's stories. Heck, poor Avery can't even take cases because she has a wedding coming up. LOL Because as you know all female lawyers just stop working once they become engaged. *roll-eyes*

Women aren't doing ANY business scheming, heck none their lives even involve work. Y&R female drama is all about babies these days (and for the last couple years) If they are too old to produce babies they make up more from their youth, or they are not shown. Nikki's finally getting a front burner story, & like Kay, it's about a past baby. Otherwise no babies , no life, older woman must be in the background playing supporting to the men and children.

Maybe it is, but they could have given Devon lots of money without having Kay being unfair to the others. The fact that Kay didn't treat MacKenzie equal to Devon, or even mention her great grandson Dylan, is UNBELIEVABLE. Kay just wouldn't do that, so it really ruins the story unless there is some type of explanation.

Devons huge portion also doesn't make sense with the past. Much of Kay's wealth came from Gary Reynolds and Philip Chancellor. She cheated on Gary Reynolds and MURDERED Phillip Chancellor, yet she doesn't make amends to their heirs in death? Instead she throws it in their faces and gives their money to an heir of the man ( Judge Arthur Hendricks) she cheated with. Kay could be a controlling witch in life but I always thought she would do the right thing in death. The writers didn't think it out, they spoiled the end of a 40 year story. Kay never made amends!

Good point pennywise.

Chance got a snivly little amount, yet Tucker's son got over $2 billion -- cash!

I think Stoney is right on this because I thought the same thing because Cane was given management as CEO not ownership but the key Jill will have to work with Cane.

Today's episode was very good today and you can tell how the episode will be that day on who is in the opening of the episode and it was Jill, Nikki\Victor...I did a happy dance on our living-room floor when Jill had her fantasy and told Esther not get it on the fur...I howled! Big smile Classic Jill shined, have I mentioned how much I love Jess Walton. Esther was like what fur? Esther's fantasy hiring Jill as the maid was gold! Then Kevin's and he said your hot and Murphy told he wasn't bad himself...belly laughed out loud...Dominic was telling me to sit down and watch the show...I couldn't help it. I'm blessed to have a husband that puts up the my love of soaps, so many men wouldn't tolerate my passion.

Speaking of Kevin a story must be brewing for him and hopeful it has nothing to with robbery...maybe they are leaning to bisexual/gay story now Greg has came out...hmmm

I about fell over when Nikki mentioned the cult, it completely shock me, someone did their homework. Oh, Stoney I second that about the flashbacks and the cult, it's one my all time favorites of Bill's stories, around the time of Jim Jones happening back in '78-79 :Cool the sad part is we all know who it is or do we? Could it be a daughter? Nikki said he and Paul said a son, then Nikki said she didn't know for sure (or something)...maybe Chelsea? Now if Chelsea I could deal with that and ship Anita back to Compton...

My only wish was the whole episode was all about the will and Nikki, Hilary\Mason didn't fit into today's story but over all dare I say I think I enjoyed the episode more than the memorial.

The music box, Katherine was 12 (Oct. 12, two days after mine) Katherine was Libra, must be why I love her. There's another clue in the drawing I think somewhere hidden.

Today's episode A-...tomorrow back to the same old grind Dylan...ugh!

I think Devon's inheritance is rather much but I also think he is a bit too shrewd to allow Hillary to run off with it all. Not sure why some seem to be over the moon about his good fortune but I do think that it would be trite for his storyline to just simply lose it all. I am really starting to dislike Hillary a lot for going to such extreme measures over something she knows absolutely nothing about. Anyway ... she could not possibly have suffered all that much over the loss of her mother; look where she is right now. All she is is yet another mentally ill visitor to Genoa City with a very hot boy top to play around with (and I don't mean Cane or Devon).

I don't get where some seem to think that Jill is the owner of Chancellor.

People were so sure Cane was going to get everything. I'm glad Josh was smart to write it the way he did.

So now Murphy will quietly fade away as Kay's HUSBAND ...sad. I'm not so sure that Kay'd leave all that money to her new Grandson, but let's go with that.

It was mostly satisfying...and I love that the cult (early 80's?) got Nikki into trouble. That's a pretty realistic twist. And the fact that she can tell Paul who was also part of that story just proves how much YR history and current characters can and should be used.

Phelps are you starting to get it?

Okay.....so who do YOU think it will be, since you don't think it's Jill?

If you don't get why *some seem to think this* I can explain. Today they had Jill having a COW about the will, getting the *shaft* and wanting to know who Katherine decided to give the company to. Murphy actually stood up (almost in a panic it seemed) telling the lawyer he should *not jump ahead.* What the hell did he care? I think while on their trip, Kay probably confided to him that she was going to leave the co. to Jill, but make her jump through hoops before hand. Then Kay leaves her this music box. WHY? If it's just because she wants Jill to realize the imprtance of love and family blah blah blah who cares? There has to be more to it than that. I think the *more* is that Jill is going to find out (down the line) that Kay bequethed the company to her.

But that's just my opinion. I guess yours is different.

I'm not sure about the episode. THere was a lot that I wish could have been done. Hearing how much Devon is worth and seeing that Hilary and the naked guy who can't seem to find a job knew where he would be was silly.

Jess Walton is a tremendous actress and I hope that once she discovers all the truth that it is revealed she received a vast inheritance.

As for Nikki's story, I am sorry. We have seen this woman go through SOOOOO MUCH that I can't believe that she on'y revealed her first pregnancy now. And WHY ANOTHER PATERNITY STORY!?!!!

I am tired of it.

Jill will most likely be the owner of Chancellor but will it be too late? Victor and Adam are going to make a move on the company sooner rather than later. Hopefully Jill will find out she owns Chancellor and there will be an epic battle between Jill and Victor for the company.

Even if she doesn't get it, has she forgotten she owns half of Fenmore Department Stores? She never goes to the office she made Lauren share with her. So it's not like she is destitute. As for the women on the show not being in positions of power, Lauren running a major department store chain contradicts that.

TMAC, I don't think that LAUREN running a major department store chain is a contradiction to the comment that there are no women in positions of power on the show. LOok at her last storyline where she needed not just ONE man but to save her from another man. Lauren is my favorite character but sadly she's never been in control and always leans on a man.

Sure in the end she may pull out a gun or stand up for herself but every story shows her going through the " i need a man to protect me" story before she saves herself.

As for the will, I am not sure that Jill will get CHancellor.

Coffee_Junkie ... I never actually said it wasn't Jill but it isn't Jill just yet. I already said in another thread that there is something much more going on with the music box and have a feeling that Katherine was trying to do anything to keep Victor's clammy cold greedy old hands away from the Chancellor pot.

You could be correct about Murphy but it also could have been nothing at all.

Regarding this thread, again Avery is the only one who will destroy the marriage before it begins (or should I say save the sainted Nick from her?).

Lauren being a department store owner doesn't mean anything in regards to power, if we never see it. We never even hear her talk about it. In the nineties she even used to have a big old office where she used to sex up Brad. Uh, memories!

Bell did a great job of showing us the GC citizens at work and wove the story in at the same time.

We rarely see Jabot anymore...or the boutique. So many good sets and places for the drama to unfold but all Phelps musters up is On The Blvd and now a park.

Yes, our new producer and writer could probably screw up a wet dream. Just to me, absolutely unbelievable as to how bad the show has gotten. Now they have Dumbo Dylan kidnapping the baby? Give us all a break and hire some talented writers.

Yeah, in reference to the sets, I miss seeing Fenmore's...and I miss seeing Newman Enterprises more.

I actually think we see Jabot Cosmetics more now than we had before. I really wanna see my Ashley back in her lab with that sexy lab coat on and those glasses. Mmmmm

Okay anyway, I say the show's been much better this week than it's been in a couple of months. Probably since around the 40th...I'm even enjoying Dylan a little. I think the story is written pretty well now, and TO ME (and I may get stoned for this) but to me if there was someone other than Steve Burton playing the role, it would be a lot better to a lot of people. But the fact that we know Y&R rolled out the red carpet for him and that he could possibly be getting preferential treatment makes having to watch him more of a task. But this week, I actually enjoyed his performance. It was subtle, well for ME all I've seen him do is subtle (never watched GH when he was on)...but even still, I think he did really good in those reveal scenes.

I like Dylan being back in Avery's orbit again. They are two fairly new characters, but to ME, I find them more interesting TOGETHER, than Avery with nick and Dylan with Chelsea. I like the fallout that is coming from Adam...

I personally liked Katherine's will reading and everything that came along with it. I love seeing black love in the afternoon with Hilary and Mason. Well, black SEX in the afternoon I Should say.

I don't care about who Summer's pappy is.

I like that Nikki's story is rooted in history and is a subject that Y&R hasn't REALLY tackled in depth in a long time.

I do have a feeling that Katherine's gift ... Final gift... Will be a defining moment for Jill and a very fitting gift from Katherine. While we are lead to believe that money was that and it turned out not to be, I think we will be pleased by the final outcome.

I hope. To end the character of Katherine after all these years getting the last laugh with Jill by giving her nothing will be tragic because of all the strides the two characters have made.

While I am not sure it will be ownership of chancellor I do think whatever it turns out to be Jill will be very happy
