In addition to being welcomed by Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade with a cake, the show surprised her by having Sherri Shepherd bring presents. Hasselbeck also got a shout out from Regis Philbin. Doocy, Kilmeade and Hasselbeck then showed segments from their visit to Duck Dynasty, which included all three wearing beards. Sean Hannity dropped in to welcome Hasselbeck and brought up his visit to The View while Rosie O'Donnell was a co-host. Hasselbeck joked she tries to block out parts of that time. Fox & Friends additionally launched a week-long "Battle of the Sexes", which pits Hasselbeck and Maria Molina against Doocy and Kilmeade. The women won the first day of the five-day competition. Really? Log in to Reply Jon September 16, 2013 Elisabeth’s debut was a delight. I believe F&F will maintain its place as cable news’ most watched morning program. I much prefer it to GMA or Today. Log in to Reply DaytimeFan0001 September 16, 2013 Anything is better than The View. Even this. To EH’s credit, it seems she got a better gig than the one that “had no plans” to fire her. Log in to Reply sodsince16 September 16, 2013 Has Hasselbeck become an American treasure while I was busy watching The Talk? Log in to Reply Dyllan September 17, 2013 ^To EH’s credit, she has toned down her annoying traits and has improved her interviewing skills. A “treasure”? I wouldn’t go that far. The View is 100 steps above this show for the slow and ignorant. Log in to Reply pumpkin September 17, 2013 I don’t watch the show and/or network. I went back to basic cable and it is not even on the list. The one I can’t stand is Hannity. He is an idiot and unlikable. Who is watching this jerk? Can’t believe he is still on and making the money he makes. Yikes. Log in to Reply Dyllan September 17, 2013
The one I can’t stand is Hannity.
Amen! Total douche. Luckily, Fox is bumping him from his prime time spot to make room for Megyn Kelly. I want one of his guests to slap him. With him getting relegated, the channel gets a little self-respect.
