ABC Scoops Up Eva Longoria's Pura Sangre Adaptation

Eva Longoria has yet another reason to be muy bueno. In addition to the budding producer's series, Devious Maids, being renewed for a second season, the Desperate Housewives alum's latest project has been bought by ABC.

According to The Wrap, Longoria's production company will adapt the telenovela Pura Sangre for the alphabet network in conjunction with Berman/Braun and Universal Television.

The show, which will reportedly be called Trust, "revolves around David Montenegro, who’s described as a humble Miami attorney. David finds himself in a love triangle between his ex-girlfriend, Rosella Lagos, and her fiance. In the process, he gets drawn into the drama of Rosa’s dysfunctional family."

I absolutely LOVED Pura Sangre. Definitely smarter than your typical novela, the story was dark and complex without being convoluted. I hope the US version does it justice Smile

"David finds himself in a love triangle between his ex-girlfriend, Rosella Lagos, and her fiance."

Are we going to get some man on man action? If so I'm definitely down to watch Smile
