The original cast was so good, but it’s hard for a show to survive THAT many changes. Log in to Reply rabbit on the moon September 25, 2013 7 years is long enough. Log in to Reply Ryan-Scott September 25, 2013 I’m very upset to see read this. Army Wives is one of the few primetime shows I watch and found worth my time. Plus I am a Kim Delaney fan since she was Jenny Gardner-Nelson so I always loved seeing her until she left. I know alot of people bitched cuz of the cast changes but I liked the new characters and saw real potential. What I say to that is look at Season 7 of Knots Landing. Was it still Karen/Sid, Kenny/Ginger, Richard/Laura, and Val/Gary living on Seaview Circle? No, it was not.
