CBS Orders Full Season of Sarah Michelle Gellar's The Crazy Ones

CBS has picked up the Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar (ex-Kendal Hart, All My Children) comedy The Crazy Ones for a full season by giving it a back nine order, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The comedy also stars former One Life to Live star Amanda Setton (ex-Kimberly Andrews), former As the World Turns star James Wolk (a sailor) and features Days of Our Lives' Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan).

The Tiffany network also ordered full seasons of The Millers and Mom.

"We’re proud of CBS' leadership position in comedy and excited to build on it with the back nine pickups of these three new comedies," said CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler. "These series are creatively distinct, continue to improve each week and are led by strong showrunners, writing and production staffs, and feature amazingly talented casts."

This is good news for 'The Crazy Ones'! I love this show, it's quirky and funny as all get out! Good show all around! Very happy that Robin Williams is back on my small screen along with three former daytime stars.

Mom, with ex- GL and West Wing star Allison Janney, is so much better written & funnier though. But congrats to all of the CBS slate of comedies.

In a soap-related note, "The Crazy Ones" is the latest sitcom with which Rob Sudduth (Greg Rikaart's boyfriend) is associated. Sudduth was the writer of last Thursday's episode, 'The Breakfast Burrito Club.' Great job! His episodes of "The New Normal" were always good too.

Who give a crap about Rikkart's concubine? And the New Normal thank God is now toast! The Crazy One's is successful for one reason and one reason only....Robin Williams. He has God given talent for comedy. End of story. Sarah Michelle Gellar is just lucky to be paired with him.

I personally don't find this show funny, watched all the episodes thus far but just isn't appealing to me, seems canned laughter. SMG isn't the most natural comedian for my taste. The Millers & Mom is the funniest nushows to me.

Well, I don't really know about this series, but that James Wolk... what a cutie! He's so adorable! Love his character on Mad Men Smile
