SPOILERS: Jack and Jill Join Forces Against Victor on The Young and the Restless

Jack/Jill: The two partner up to take Victor down.

Adam/Chelsea: Delia’s demise weighs heavily on the exes. While Chelsea is joyful over Connor’s cornea transplant, she is devastated Delia’s death saved her son's sight. She's even more distraught over not being able to attend Delia's funeral, since Connor is still in recovery. Will his father make an appearance at the memorial? Also, is Chelsea falling for a troubled Adam again? Anita will want to know the answer to that question.

Alex: Det. Chavez has his sights set on Adam regarding Delia’s death. Look for the two to have a nasty face-off.

Michael/Lauren/Fen: When Michael is sentenced to 10 years for snuffing out Carmine, Fen decides to confess. Michael and Lauren think Fen is trying to cover for them. Paul and Christine take Fen at his word and start to investigate the troubled teen. What they turn up could prove none of the Baldwins were responsible for Carmine's murder, but will it be too late to save Michael from catching a bloody beatdown in prison?

Jack: Grumpy Ghost John pays a visit to his eldest son, encouraging Jack to rally the Abbotts for Billy. Will Summer take part in the family bonding?
Nick/Sharon: Their platonic dinner becomes something more.

Cane/Lily: The Ashbys wonder about Hilary’s new attitude.

Why are Jack and Jill teaming up against Victor? What did Victor do this time?

He's trying to merge Chancellor Ind. with his own company.

Can't believe why someone would wonder what Victor did this time. But this could breath some new life into those hoary goings on. Maybe this time there will be a different "victor"?

But speaking of hoary storylines ... Michael/Lauren/Fen? Come on!

Alex/Adam: Still hoping Adam never has to reveal his "part". That rehash would also be hoary and very annoying.

On one hand I'd like to see Jack & Jill team up against Victor, on the other hand, I think "what difference does it make? Victor will win because Victor always wins". There's not even a CHANCE that this storyline will turn out differently so it's hard to get invested in it.

Chavez makes me laugh. Every case that comes along he starts pontificating about how he WILL solve this case if it's the last thing he ever does! He has YET to solve a case.

If part of the terms of surrender to be exacted by Jack and Jill could be that Mr. Gudegast stops saying "Jackass Abbott", I would be very happy. Laughing out loud

What RebeccaJ said! Until you get an EP and/or HW that's not afraid to tell Eric Braeden where to stick it and don't allow his EGO to get away with the 'Victor always wins' clause in his next contract, Victor will always win. I'm sooo sick of this.

WOW is all I can say about Billy and Chloe...their acting is remarkable!

On a down note....REALLY?.....Nikki and Avery's hair looks like
s&%t.....neither is flattered by long, staight blond hair (extensions)....go back to their old flattering hairtyles with curls.

Maybe I have always in my head thought these people had more $ than I expected but I thought a $100k offer from Jack and Jill was kind of a lowball and when Devon offered a mil I was surprised.
I would expect a mil from Jack and Jill and for Devon to raise it to like $10 mil or something having just gotten 2 billion.

"Anything" to catch Delia's "killer" right.....

Looks like John "Yawn" Abbott's ghost will be positive this time, unlike his past visits where all he does is chastise and berate Jack.

Chavez goes after Adam? Wonder if this is Adam's exit?

Heard that Muhney may be leaving Y&R. If true, I wonder if this is how he's going to be written off the show?

For the past two weeks I haven't even watched Y&R. The show is such a mess and I cannot take the Delia death storyline.

Everything is going to pot on Y&R. It's sickening.

I wonder if I'll ever watch again………….

Sad……….

Muhney is not leaving the show. This storyline has been planned for months and he resigned his contract just this past April.

As for the story of Delia and her death and the outcome... I am on the fence. Although the acting is tremendous... as is always the case with 99% of the cast (nuAbby/nuNoah, Tyler and even Hilarry bring as much energy to their scenes as dead battery in a flashlight)... I am not sure if this specific character had to be killed for story purposes.

I get that death is a part of life but when you look at the bigger picture, especially on Y&R, you have to wonder if the demise of certain characters traps the show or pushes it forward. Killing John Abbott was short sighted and the fact his ghost appears all the time is proof of that and even Colleen's death was dumb. Nothing more came from their deaths other than shrinking the Abbott family.

Sure, Cassie's death was fantastic and has given the show countless story from one emotional moment that a case can be made to kill off Delia. But we are still seeing story from Cassie's death so why another kid death?!

I would like to see Billy sit with Victoria and grieve instead of always running away. Also, why do the Abbotts when they get together now seem like it's for a birthday and not a death? I didn't get any inkling that a child died and I was perplexed that it turned into Summer making it about her now being a part of the family or Kyle once again inserting himself (no pun intended) into his "sister's" world so incestuously. (I would love for it to be revealed that Sharon was unsuccessful at switching the results because she couldn't get access to computer but just thought she did cause she's loony).

Even Ashley... a character and actress sorely missed... showed up in a form fitting and WOW HOT red cocktail dress! Couldn't wardrobe have her in black slacks and a white blouse as if she wasn't just arriving from a party?!

Also, the time frame and continuity to the story is getting a bit too mixed up. Technically, Delia just died the night before at 7 or 8pm and everyone is just finding out about it. If one is to look at the scenes you would agree. Yet they are already putting out rewards, press conferences, and closing down amusement parks on a whim and its' only the afternoon, not even 24 hours since the death.

There've been rumors about Michael Muhney leaving since his first year on the show.

It's not happening.

Rumors came from another board that claims it's true. I'm a huge Muhney fan. If he leaves, it would be a gigantic blow to Y&R. However, he's so talented that eventually PrimeTime will be calling him back.

People... he just signed a contract in April of this year. HE IS NOT LEAVING. Michael Muhney is on for the duration.

Here's an article from just 2 weeks ago that clearly illustrates that this guy is happy where he is...

Thanks pjc722 for saying everything I was thinking in post 20. And no way is Mr. Muhney leaving, MAB & JFP love him as much as he loves himself.

To me Victor is only showing his ignorance or rather the writer that is doing the lines he is supposed reading. Any one can use swear words. He would show a lot more intelligence by not referring to Jack in that way. Only shows what an ass the writer of the show is, and him for stating the words.

In one scene alone, Victor utters JACKASS ABBOTT twice! And in the past couple of weeks whatever writer thought that nickname for the character by Victor was GENIUS in writing has been having Newman utter everytime.

What I don't get and NEVER DID GET is why the writers REWRITE history that they WROTE?! Why have Victor ruin Newman because he hates Jack and then once he gets it back he says Adam ruined it?! ANd that's only one instance where the writers have done that with the character. Billy's time in a Mynamar prison and then being held prisoner in a trailer park by Victor is being rewritten. Chelsea giving her child to Victor's daughter Victoria is another example. Or even ALL of Adam's life and his emergence on the scene in Genoa City and how his siblings treated him in the VERY beginning. Or even how Newman was actually lost by Victor because of his other 2 kids.

The list is endless and only makes Victor more of a delusional man than a menace. Over the last few years Victor has lost everything HIMSELF but the writers have allowed him to blame others. Even the great Katherine Chancellor blamed everyone else for Victor's problems than to just ignore him. (Shall we remember her giving him a PASS on the whole Patti debacle and still blaming Jack for parts of it)

8 years ago I loved seeing Victor come on screen. Now, I am wishing that it was Victor who was run down and a massive whodunit played out. The death of Victor would have ripple effects in town and could welcome a new tycoon and MORE story to the city. Sorry, right now, its just retread stories and unlike DALLAS 2.0 where they were able to reinvent the JR/CLIFF BARNES feud, the Victor & Jack feud or Victor & anyone feud seems tired, dull and just noise.

Twas good to see Ashley, and it made Friday's episode pretty good. Not crazy about the long, drawn out conversation between Nick and Billy -- it seemed forced, and a way to pigeon-hole Nick into a scene.

The Abbott gathering was good, I could even stand ol Lantern-Jaw. The highlight of that gathering was Summer announcing she was an Abbott. Seemed very natural and not forced.

Fen/Lauren/Michael is okay, but the whole s/l is missing a Carmine of Jamie to drive it froward. Too bad Carmine is dead.

Who'd have thunk the highlight of the day would be Mr and Mrs Williams. Natural, easy-going, realistic are words to describe when these 2 are together -- and it worked really well.

I can tell you from today's Show, everybody is either talking to, or over-concerned about Dylan -- how exciting.
