HomeTVDays of Our LivesCrackheads United: Will Brady and Theresa Find Common Ground on Days of Our Lives? Jamey Giddens November 30, 2013 Days of Our Lives 6 Comments Whoever tricked Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) into searching for an MIA Kristen (Eileen Davidson) in a crack den, really set the dimwitted hunk up for failure! Next week on Days of Our Lives, John Black's (Drake Hogestyn) eldest offspring gets high with the drugs he lifted from the crackhouse. I guess if anything would make a recovering addict fall off the wagon, finding out your fiance drugged and raped your priest stepbrother would do the trick! Look for fellow 12-Step Tangoer Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) to offer her step-grandson support, but she won't be the only one. Rumor has it, Brady will bond with Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley). Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) and Kim's (Patsy Pease) daughter has been struggling with substance abuse for some time. Will she and Brady be able to lean on one another? This could be interesting. However, DAYS will need to do another rewrite of John Black's origin story, if they ever plan to attempt a love match for the junkies. John is the son of Colleen Brady, which makes him Kim's biological cousin. This ain't Peapack, so we can't have kinfolk hunching! Personally, I would love for Gary Tomlin and Chris Whitesell to undo the whole Colleen/Santo foolishness, so the Blacks could go back to happily humping Bradys and DiMeras in Salem! What do you make of SPUMORS of Brady and Theresa connecting? Sound off in the comments! 6 Responses harlee490 November 30, 2013 Heck yeah, this could be a interesting and timely story, look at how many stars have met in rehab…good for Days. Log in to Reply ChrisGa November 30, 2013 Yeah, Brady might be the dumbest man whore on daytime(well, at least right up there with Nick Newman). But, Eric Martsolf can generate chemistry with a stray doorknob and Jen Lilley, despite her oversharing on social media, kills it as Theresa so I could see those two going at it. Log in to Reply SoapArmageddon November 30, 2013 It can’t be with Theresa for the reasons Jamey stated, but I wouldn’t mind seeing a half-naked Brady fall into a downward spiral of meaningless sexual encounters like in the movie Shame. However, there has to be a point where the show empowers this character. Richard Simmons has a better track record with women than this poor guy. He is far too dumb and pitiful to be a member of the Kiriakis family. And why aren’t they exploiting the burning chemistry Martsolf shares with Kristian Alfonso? My Hope Brady is being left to gather cobwebs. That’s not right. Log in to Reply Yoryla November 30, 2013 Firstly I have to say, lol @ the idea of The Queen Diva Kristen DiMera setting foot in a crack den. Brady, maybe, Kristen, no way. Secondly, I don’t really care one way or the other about anything Brady does past Kristen, or about Theresa, but I did learn that there’s a spoiler around saying they *are* going to retcon the Santeen story and change John’s paternity once again. Dear Lord. But not that I’m complaining, because the action is right, that mess was horrible and there’s a reason why nobody’s ever talking about it anymore. But the retcon should be done because of that, not because of some idea to pair Brady with one of the Bradys. LOL. Log in to Reply ds1126 December 1, 2013 I think they are easy changing the Santeen story because of this interview with Eric Martsolf. http://tvsourcemagazine.com/2013/11/day-days-interview-eric-martsolf-end-bristen-whats-ahead-brady/ Here is the part I’m talking about. “It’s also going to come out that Brady [actually] has no ties to DiMera or Brady families at all,” he said with excitement. “There is a reveal that happens – something about John Black’s true mother, her true identity. There is a twist to that.” Log in to Reply blake3b December 1, 2013 Sounds great with Brady on drugs, Eric killed it when Brady was a drunk. And I agree he should be shirtless and having sex all the time while high lol. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
