Matthew Goode Lands Recurring Role on The Good Wife

The Good Wife
doesn’t return with new episodes until 2014. Since the CBS drama has been so spectacular this season, the wait is going to be especially tough.  However, if awesome news like this keeps coming out, the wait just might be bearable.

TVLine is reporting Matthew Goode will be joining the cast in a recurring role.  The Brit thesp will play a prosecutor who becomes friends with Alicia (Julianna Margulies). This happens right after he suffers a crisis of faith and decides to follow a new career path.

Some of Goode’s credits include playing dreamy boyfriends in Chasing Liberty, A Single Man, and Leap Year. He’s also played the villain in such films as Watchmen and Stoker. Most recently he appeared in the Starz miniseries Dancing on the Edge.

How exciting is this news? The only thing that could make it better, is if he gets to use an accent.
