HomeTVDallasOprah: Where Are They Now to Feature Dallas’ Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy Luke Kerr December 13, 2013 6 Comments Oprah is donning her 10-gallon hat to interview Dallas icons Linda Gray (Sue Ellen) and Patrick Duffy (Bobby Ewing) on Sunday's installment of Oprah: Where Are They Now at 10 pm EST on OWN. In addition to chatting with the Dallas stars, the episode will feature Winfrey catching up with Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence and Marcia Clark. Los Angeles - “Dallas” Star Linda Gray, Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, and OJ Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark, share fascinating updates on an all-new episode of “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” airing this Sunday, December 15 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. In 1980, 83 million “Dallas” fans found themselves asking the pressing question: “Who shot J.R. Ewing?” Now, more than thirty years later, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy are back on the set of the new “Dallas” as Sue Ellen and Bobby Ewing, and they reflect on the loss of their friend and costar, Larry Hagman. Next, Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence were both breakout stars in the 90s, and now they star together in the sitcom “Melissa & Joey.” Melissa talks openly about life as a working mom and the controversy surrounding her new book, and Joey offers advice to young actors of today. Then, Marcus Dixon, the former NFL athlete who was a high school senior when he was convicted of statutory rape in a case that was racially divided, talks about how his life and career have been impacted. Finally, Marcia Clark, the head prosecutor in the O.J. Simpson murder trial, talks about life after the trial and how she discovered her new passion. And finally, a look back at the craziest things Oprah’s producers had her do over the years. 6 Responses Marland Fan December 13, 2013 Um, don’t we already know where they are now? Just sayin’… Log in to Reply TV Gord December 13, 2013
Of course Oprah doing the interviews is always an honor.
Oprah doesn’t do the interviews on this show. They talk to an off-camera interviewer who’s never seen nor heard. Oprah does the voiceover, though.
As for Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence, they’re more approriate for the target group, has-beens that they are.
Melissa and Joey have a sitcom on ABC Family, so we know where they are, too. This is just essentially a promotional tool for Dallas and Melissa & Joey. I’ll still be watching, though. I’m a sucker for these kinds of shows, when I fondly remember the people involved. Log in to Reply Patchworks December 13, 2013 I already have this show scheduled on my DVR! I love me some Dallas. Log in to Reply Yoryla December 13, 2013 Oh, thanks Gord. I actually knew about the Melissa & Joey show, but I thought it was long over with. My bad. Log in to Reply Yoryla December 13, 2013 Umm, okay? Aren’t these “Where are they now” things supposed to be about former stars, about people whose whereabouts nobody really knows of. Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy are on top right now, back at Dallas where they belong. This is even a bit insulting to them. Of course Oprah doing the interviews is always an honor. Log in to Reply TV Gord December 16, 2013 My pleasure, Yoryla. Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel Reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
