Will Genoa City ever be the same? Watch this week's promo after the jump! 46 Responses pferrando January 27, 2014 I know a lot of people didn’t like killing Delia off, but since that time this story has been spot on with the drama. YR’s cast should definitely snag some Emmys over this storyline. The “finale” looks great, and will be a natural transition of Miller and MM leaving, and the arrival of Tom. Fantastic. Log in to Reply harlee490 January 27, 2014 Yes, the performances of many will be nominated but no secret I hated the story but many did shine in their delivery….this will be bashed but one I enjoyed was AH’s anguish being the spouse of grieving party. Finally! getting closure will be welcoming to see and definitely the ending of of Adam….I personally can’t wait until MM leaves and the show & people can MOVE ON! I know BM & MM will bring their talents shining brighly with both leaving the show….I’m looking forward to DT’s return but I also have a heavy heart with BM leaving the show Log in to Reply bobbyew January 27, 2014 Looking forward to the continuation of the Emmy award winning television the ep, cast and crew have been producing over the past few days maybe even then past couple of weeks. This looks spectacular. Log in to Reply goyankees January 27, 2014 It’s all going to be rough. The storyline, and the departures of these 2 fantastic actors. Billy Miller, I’M GOING TO MISS YOUUUUUUU!!!!! Log in to Reply RealityCheck 33 January 27, 2014 So glad to say good-bye to this shit storyline and show. This whole situation has soured me on soaps in-general. It’s run by petty people, who have an over inflated sense of self-importance. The actors have shown themselves to be children in need of psychiatric intervention. The networks are run by weasels just as David Letterman has said for years. Flushing the toilet at the end of the week. Log in to Reply sillytee January 27, 2014 glad the story is coming to an end, but i seriously doubt emmy will be standing on anyone-from-this-storyline’s mantle. to my surprise, the only one in this mess that was actually good was Amelia Heinley..the next ‘big’ storyline is Victor the drug kingpin… oh was Ray Wise awesome or what??!!!!! Log in to Reply Patchworks January 27, 2014 I hated this storyline, but the promo seems to reveal a good payoff. I hope it is, at least. I will miss Billy Miller. Log in to Reply tedew January 27, 2014 This may or may not be the truth coming out but it is good to finally have an end in sight. Still not sure that this ending was the intent when the whole thing started but we are stuck with it. I will never ever like Victor unless there are more dimensions (hopefully positive ones) added to the character and the way he is interpreted improves. He is of course not a drug king pin but he has done so much to cause grief to so many that there is still a major need for him to receive comeuppance and to reform. Being more in the background as a nicer (but not quite nice) character doesn’t have to be a bad thing for Mr. Braeden to deal with. Log in to Reply bobbyew January 27, 2014 Day 1, week 4 of the fix. I was not disappointed at all. Every scene was good especially Chloe and Chelsea. Adam and Billy, Sharon and Nick. Hilary becoming the new Mamie. Kevin and Paul what a great scene. The episode built and built like bricks from a foundation to a beautiful Abbott Mansion. Chelsea’s final reaction priceless. The best it has been in a very long time. You could see the real stress that was weighing on MM from his real life. BIll Bell would be proud. Log in to Reply Divatude58 January 27, 2014
Day 1, week 4 of the fix. And if you mean her taking care of the Abbots with no life of her own as she pines for Jack who doesn’t look her way…uhm uhm, no. Nada. Nope. Hilary can do much better than that as a character. Why should she be relegated to “the help”. Nope. Why waste such a great actress eh excels at being a vixen on such a role. Nope. Now if you said she was the new Jill, I would take that. Log in to Reply bobbyew January 27, 2014 ^^^ I did not relegate her to that. The writers are it seems. Yes she should be a vixen. I think it will turn out that way when New Phyllis comes home and they have to fight each other to the death over Jack. I think it would make for good story. It would be a great rehash of John, Mamie, Jill scenario. That is if the New Phyllis has the chops to compete. Whatever they have her doing her scenes were great with Jacks son. Log in to Reply pferrando January 27, 2014 I’d love to watch Hilary and Phyl fight over Jack, or just have some scenes together, however, I’m STILL pining away for a Stafford return… And as usual today’s show sparked without Dylan or Tyler. Still the two characters I wish would go away, or at least be the supporting characters they should be. Tomorrow’s show looks great. Can’t wait to see what Victor has planned. Log in to Reply NathanHastingsSr. January 27, 2014 I miss MAB. I never thought that I’d ever utter those words. I just got chills smh. Log in to Reply yojoromo4469 January 27, 2014 I wouldn’t care who they replaced JFP with as long as she took Dyldumbo with her when she left. Log in to Reply timepass January 28, 2014 As usual MM and BM are doing a wonderful job. But that story seems to go on and on and was NOT worth killing Dehlia. We will have angry Chloe, again. That is the only emotion she shows, that and crazy. I don’t think I can take more than this week with this story, uncle already. The grand finish is too little too late. Log in to Reply pjc722 January 28, 2014 I had forgotten about the great early performance in this story by Henle. I have to agree she was great and had really wished this story took more of a turn towards how the two moms separately dealt with this death and not Billy’s overly long sulking performance that for me only tugged at my heart. Still don’t think that the death of Delia was worth it but acting on this show was never bad. Will miss both bm n mm. Log in to Reply TraceyAbbot101 January 28, 2014 I HAVE BEEN ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT!! Killer Miller – today (Monday) I just could not take my eyes off of him!! And Ray Wise just walking up to Nikki (in her own home!!)was chilling! No guards/Bonnie/staff at the Newman Ranch! The wedding – loved the winter princess look of Chelsea……. Chloe – the jealousy is shining through!! “our baby”…. indeed! i even loved Lily vs Hillary at the GCAC…the scene really didn’t need Cain. And isn’t Jill a lil tired of being handcuffed to a bed? HAHAHAHA! Imagine Hillary n Jack? What might BIG RED say? 0 Log in to Reply noway January 28, 2014 Pjc There is one actor stinking up the sets on a regular basis… The one and only Stevie B or as some refer to him as agent orange. Log in to Reply FoxCrane January 28, 2014 After today’s scenes, it’s really starting to sink in how much Miller and Muhney bring to this show. These two were the future of the Newman-Abbott feud, and if/when they recast Adam, the most important chemistry they should test for is how the new actor will play opposite David Tom’s Billy. -jmho Log in to Reply RealityCheck 33 January 28, 2014 Let Adam stay dead. Just leave it alone. Agent Orange can take over like JFP wants. He can take over the role as Victor’s nemesis within the family. Stevie B can stare Braeden down. Log in to Reply TraceyAbbot101 January 28, 2014 Why would Chelsea run to Mumbles? So he can get his hands on Conner, and lose Nikki in the process! Finally, FINALLY!!!! saw today’s ending scene with Chelsea Dyn o mite! Log in to Reply Dyllan January 28, 2014 I still don’t get Muhney. I watched his scenes today and I thought they totally sucked. Will not miss this piece of wood with a frown for a second. Miller, Hendericksen, and MCE, on the other hand, brought it. Log in to Reply shirls429 January 28, 2014 :(( So very upset about Michael Muhney’s being let go what a tremendous loss for his fans!! Your nastiness is very transparent and a bit laughable. Even some of his harshest critics have acknowledged his excellence, but alas, others with an agenda….well. Log in to Reply NathanHastingsSr. January 28, 2014 I despise JFP for killing off Jake Morgan Quartermaine and Delia Abbott!! Log in to Reply kenerly1 January 28, 2014 Love the fine actor Billy Miller. My favorite. Will not miss MM..one more day and I won’t have to watch him anymore. Sony owns DOOL and I think B&B. Hopefully GH won’t hire him. Log in to Reply RealityCheck 33 January 28, 2014
Love the fine actor Billy Miller. My favorite. Have a nice day. Log in to Reply aroundhound January 28, 2014 So Billy Miller is headed to pilot season; where is Michael Muhney headed? Log in to Reply Dyllan January 28, 2014
Don’t think it matters if you get him or not, now does it? This coming from the person who was using homophobic remarks and calling the DC staff cancer? Log in to Reply tedew January 28, 2014 Dyllan … Really that bone is very well chewed now; just bury it and forget where you buried it. You just will not give this guy an inch at all; but then that is your valid opinion. Log in to Reply Dyllan January 28, 2014 ^Piss off. I was responding to a poster who was engaging me. You are not the ayatollah of DC who dictates what is “chewed”. Log in to Reply aroundhound January 29, 2014 Boys, boys, boys, some respect please. A little girl died here. Log in to Reply happy2 January 29, 2014 No matter what has transpired in the past with MM, his performance today was outstanding as an actor. Log in to Reply tedew January 29, 2014 Dyllan … You just can’t respond with logic or with humor at all can you. Log in to Reply Dyllan January 29, 2014
You’re such a lying sack o’ crap.
So you didn’t mock CLB by using a homophobic nickname about his sexuality? You also didn’t compare Jillian to cancer when reports first came out that Muhney was sexually harassing HHK? She was one of the soap reporters who broke the news. You said those reporting it were using Muhney and compared them to cancer. So why use the services of someone you compare to cancer? I’m all ears. Log in to Reply Dyllan January 29, 2014
Dyllan … You just can’t respond with logic or with humor at all can you.
And you can’t read previous posts. How is it illogical to reply to a post that replied to you? Further, since when are you funny? Log in to Reply tedew January 29, 2014 Dyllan … for the most part your posts are interesting and very well thought out. However sometimes they can tend to be one note (re: Adam) but as I’ve said in the past, that is your opinion and that is valid too. I was simply intimating that it is not logical to simply tell someone to piss off, etc. And by the way … I am quite often funny. Log in to Reply noway January 29, 2014 Tedew There is just a level of dry sarcastic wit that just flys over most people’s head. Log in to Reply LoveMichelleStafford January 30, 2014 I will stop reading this garbage too tomorrow. I have never seen another forum with so many negative people and comments. And I am not talking about the ones about MM. This has been going on forever. y’all go and find something constructive to do including this author. You help tarnished MM reputation and guess what he WILL COME OUT THE WINNER HERE. Many of you are as jealous of him as the cast members. Log in to Reply RealityCheck 33 January 30, 2014
And by the way … I am quite often funny.
I’ve appreciate your humor. Some people can’t deal with humor. As for the cancer stuff, you have me confused with someone else. So learn how to read. I have cancer, so don’t throw that shit in my face Dyllan. You’re the hateful fuck. Move on. Log in to Reply Dyllan January 30, 2014
I have cancer, so don’t throw that shit in my face Dyllan.
No, I don’t have you confused. You stole the line about CLB from another Muhney fan on this board and I quoted you. If you have cancer, then why would you compare other people to cancer? That’s a pretty rude statement to make and they are just doing their job. They are reporting the news and not speculating. Log in to Reply ChrisGa January 30, 2014 With the exception of Davery/Ian/Nikki and, sad to say, the now-hot-mess Michael/Lauren storyline, the last four episodes have been very good. Like many, I’m definitely ready to see the Delia aftermath concluded but the acting has been phenomenal(though in this instance, I still think BM is the fourth best actor in this storyline behind MM, EH and MCE–in my opinion, of course). Loving any pairing with Hilary, whether it be Jack, Devon, Lily or even Kyle(yikes!). Love Stitch. And unlike what seems to be many, I like the slow integration of Kelly into scenes with characters that aren’t Billy; I think Cynthia Watros has been fantastic from day one and unlike other characters brought on during this regime–Dylan, Tyler, Courtney et al–I actually find her interesting(although I still think a HUGE opportunity was missed not bringing CW on as Phyllis–don’t see MS coming back in the foreseeable future and Watros is one of the very few in my mind that could do the role justice). Log in to Reply pferrando January 30, 2014 Chris, yes. CW bored me until her first scene NOT with Miller. And I’d like to see her stick around. What would be fantastic is to actually have her AND Stafford in scenes together. I’m thinking they are holding out, hoping Stafford returns. I know Angela likes her and just tweeted this week how she’d always have a place at CBS. I hope that means they are trying to lure her back. Even if it’s non contract. Log in to Reply Mickeybabe January 30, 2014 Well folks, today is D-Day. Y&R so long bye-bye! The ruining of Adam and Michael Muhney for this gimmick of so called entertainment is a tragedy. Kudos to both Billy Miller-for leaving and for Michael even though he was fired, it’s a blessing for him -as they both will move on to greater things! The acting by both have been Emmy worthy performances. The rest of the cast aside from Jack has been mediocre at best. Wishing you both much success, and the hell to the rest!
