HBO Announces Return Date for True Blood’s Final Season

The seventh and final season of True Blood will premiere Sunday, June 22 at 9 pm on HBO.  The last chapter in Sookie Stackhouse’s (Anna Paquin) saga will finally see if she ends up with vampires Bill (Stephen Moyer) or Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), werewolf Alcide (Joe Manganiello), or shifter Sam (Sam Trammell).

Matters will be further complicated by the mutated vampire disease sweeping the undead population.

Excited for a new season.. NOT excited about it being the final. Lots have lost interest in it but I’ve loved it from the start. Bloody, campy, & fun. & I think I read Nathon Parsons was joining!

    Ugh, farewell!

I loved True Blood so much that it’s sad for me to say that I just don’t really care much anymore. I’ll watch because I’ve made it this far but the last two seasons have been terrible and with the same people running things, I have no hope that it’ll be any better this go ’round. At this point, all I care about is what happens to Eric, Pam, and Lafayette. Oh, how I wish they’d had Eric turn Lafayette when he asked him to back in early season 2. No THAT would’ve been fun.
