The CW Renews Three Shows, Orders The Flash, iZombie, Jane the Virgin and The Messengers

The CW has renewed its Southern charmer Hart of Dixie for another season. The series stars Rachel Bilson, Scott Porter and former The Young and the Restless star Wilson Bethel.

The network also extended Beauty and the Beast's life. However, I'm most pleased about freshman newcomer The 100 getting a second season.

Fans of the netlet can look forward to four new series next fall. The highly-anticipated The Flash received a series order. iZombie, The Messengers and Jane the Virgin were also picked up to series.  iZombie stars former One Tree Hill star Robert Buckley and Once Upon a Time's Rose McIver.

The CW has already renewed Arrow, Reign, Supernatural, The Originals and The Vampire Diaries.

I don’t get why The CW renewed Beauty and the Beast. Giving The Tomorrow People another chance or maybe even The Carrie Diaries – if you need something for the female audience – would have made more sense.

Happy that Hart of Dixie got renewed – even though this season was kinda lame. Excited to see The Flash.
