The Guiding Light, Private Practice and Murder in the First star will appear in multiple episodes as a lawyer named Dean Levine-Wilkins. Wilkins will be an equity partner at Lockhart/Gardner who decides to jump ship to Florrick/Agos along with Diane (Christine Baranski). In a statement about the casting, executive producers/showrunners Robert and Michelle King said: We couldn’t be more excited to have Taye on the show. We’ve been huge fans for years, and love his ability to play comedy and drama with equal ease. Log in to Reply Daniel St. John July 8, 2014 Diggs has had two failed series (Daybreak and Kevin Hill) but he was on Private Practice and that awful show ran for 6 or so years. And his summer series on TNT, Murder in the First has gotten good ratings so it is likely to be renewed too. Log in to Reply soapjunkie88 July 9, 2014 The headline gives the impression that Diggs needs to come in to shake things up because the show isn’t in a good state. The opposite is the case. I think creatively “The Good Wife” is doing phenomenal. Diggs is a good actor but I was never a big fan of his characters tbh. We’ll see how he’ll be doing on TGW this fall.
