HomeTVDays of Our LivesDays of Our Lives Spoilers: Eric’s Words Stun Nicole! Melodie August 5, 2014 18 Comments What does Eric (Greg Vaughan) say that has Nicole (Arianne Zucker) up in arms? Read about it in this week’s Days Of Our Lives Spoilers. Eric/Nicole: Eric struggles to control his feelings for Nicole, while worrying about his religious fate. The Vatican makes a decision about Eric, which forces him to make a new plan for his future. The whole ordeal ends with Eric telling Nicole he hates her. Ouch! Sami/Rafe/EJ/Adrienne: Rafe (Galen Gering) rushes to deal with Sami (Alison Sweeney), following the bomb she dropped on Jordan (Chrishell Stause). Sami doesn’t flinch, and believes he just wants to reconcile. She handles him, and moves on to someone else. Sami flips the script on a floored Adrienne (Judi Evans). Meanwhile, EJ (James Scott) concludes he still has a chance with Sami. Then, he offers to strike a deal with Victor (John Aniston). Sonny/Victor: Sonny (Freddie Smith) asks Victor for help. Jordan/Kate: Jordan attacks Kate (Lauren Koslow). Rafe shows up and attempts to explain his actions to Jordan. Jennifer/Eve: Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) take their issues to court. Kristen/Daniel: Daniel (Shawn Christopher) breaks Kristen’s (Eileen Davidson) tough exterior and gets the diva to open up to him. Marlena/Theresa: Marlena (Deidre Hall) demands answers from Theresa (Jen Lilley). Paige/JJ: Paige (True O’Brien) throws JJ (Casey Moss) and Eve for a loop with her scheme. 18 Responses GaryJr August 5, 2014 Am I the only one who sort of fell out of love with Nicole and Eric? He’s being hostile (which isn’t to say Nicole has it coming) and she’s coming off desperate and pathetic. I’m not getting any joy from this couple any more. I have to think would Cruz or Eden (Santa Barbara) or any other supercouple talk to each other like these two do? The magic is gone for me. Speaking of Santa Barbara, Sami is the new Gina Capwell. I’m squealing with delight as she squashes everyone that has wronged her. Other bitchy girls I’m loving: Eve, Theresa, Marlena, Kate and JJ. I still don’t care for Paige and I’m beginning to think it’s the portrayal. Recast please. Also, what happened to Jordan’s face? It doesn’t move. Log in to Reply soapbaby August 5, 2014 As much as I love the actors and characters, I never saw the chemistry between Eric and Nicole. As much as I hate the character of Daniel Jonas, Nicole has chemistry with him. Love Sami in bitch-mode and Lauren Koslow has been the show’s MVP for a while now. Log in to Reply ChrisGa August 5, 2014 Agreed, Lauren Koslow commits grand larceny every time she’s in a scene with someone; she’s by far my favorite actor or actress on the show and one of daytime’s most under-the-radar talents. And while I’m enjoying most of the Sami/EJAbby fallout, I think it’s been taken a bit to the extreme–on both sides. Yes, Sami deserves to feel completely and totally betrayed by what transpired but I seem to remember Sami herself doing one or two unthinkable things–gross understatement by the way–when she was younger so taking her revenge out to this extreme, especially on Abby, just seems like hypocritical overkill. Not to say Abby’s perfect–I think it makes sense that Jen, JJ and Kayla are coming to her defense. However Will might be acting a little TOO self-righteous(although I totally agreed with every bit of business he threw up in Sami’s face last week). As for EJ, any and everyone with a pulse in Salem kinda did warn her about him(not that she needed it, seeing as how she’s shot him before, among other sundry things). Log in to Reply jezza August 6, 2014 Yes, Sami is taking her revenge a little to the extreme, but so is the entire canvas in their defense of Abby, who has now cast herself as the homewrecker TWICE. It’s time for someone who is not the town’s whipping girl to call her on it. Nobody (Carrie and her bitch slap aside) did the first time, and no one is this time. They’re all too busy blaming it on EJ, as if Abby is some wide-eyed innocent who can’t make a bad decision for herself. As for Sami’s previous misdeeds, they’re irrelevant. I don’t really see where she is being hypocritical because she owns her shortcomings, which is rare in the soap universe. Committing atrocious acts in the past (all of which she’s paid for in some way, as she astutely pointed out) does not mean you lose your right to be mad as hell when someone betrays you. Also, I’m TIRED of people saying that everything Sami does is for herself. For the last few years, so much of what Sami has done has been on behalf of other characters, from shooting Bernardi to the cover-up with Gabi and Kate to pretty much her entire relationship with Nick. The latter was ALL for Will. In fact, she could have gotten off for killing Bernardi much sooner had she told the truth about why she attacked him in the park, but she didn’t because of Will. It’s time for Will to get off his high horse. He’s becoming the most insufferable character on the canvas (at least Brady has booze and coke as his excuse for being a douche most of the time), and Guy Wilson, though a capable actor, lacks the charisma to make him appealing to me. Sonny is really the only one who hasn’t rushed to judge Sami, which reminds me, we’re really missing a scene between those two. Log in to Reply GaryJr August 6, 2014 I agree with Jezza. As Sami pointed out yesterday with Adrienne–she has paid for most of her crimes tenfold (and some she hasn’t even committed–like Franco’s murder). Everyone is so willing to give Abby a pass. I mean she already tried to steal Austin from Carrie. She’s the worst kind of hypocrite. The kind you want to see take a big fall because they climb so high on the piety scale–they have it coming when they sink pretty low. Sami’s mind-F with Adrienne yesterday totally illustrated just how much she’s suffering. In a sense because Sami has been “so bad” over the years, she thought she found her match in EJ. He was her best (and pretty much only) friend outside of Abby so it makes complete sense to me that she’d go off the deep end for revenge. She’s living up to her own vengeful legacy. Will is acting irrationally, he’s committed his own crimes that others have covered up for him. He has no right to act as if he’s above revenge. Log in to Reply SoapArmageddon August 6, 2014 As a member of the show’s pre-eminent familty the Hortons, Abby will never get called on her bad behaviour; but I think the hypocrisy is much more evident on the part of her and her defenders. Abby tried to steal Austin from Carrie. She strung Chad and Cameron along for months. She actively pursued EJ as much as he pursued her, even saying at one point that she would settle for his crumbs if she couldn’t have the whole cake. I’m not a big believer in shaming women who seek sexual satisfaction, but the term “slut” definitely applies to those who sacrifice self-respect and show no respect for the relationships of others. Log in to Reply sillytee August 5, 2014 i think LK will be the MVP once AS leaves.. Log in to Reply SoapArmageddon August 5, 2014 I’d be lying if I said I cared about Eric and Nicole as a couple. What I’d liked to know is why the writers have exiled Lucas to Off-Screenland for the umpteenth time. The character’s mother, half-sister, niece, ex-wife, and son are all in frontburner storylines. Why is he not involved in them in any way? Log in to Reply Peterascal August 5, 2014 Loving a vengeful Sami. Burning bridges everywhere. It’s almost like they’re setting her up as a victim of a “WhoDoneIt?”, but they’d never kill Sami. She and Kate are the BEST couple on the show right now! Eric and Nicole are a big snooze. I hope we don’t have to wait long for Kristen to be front and center in Salem because sticking her off with Daniel is wasting time!!!! Log in to Reply harlee490 August 5, 2014 Great spoilers, but I still love Eric-Nicole and their tortured relationship how it is being played. They will end up bouncing the on mattress again….hot damn. Log in to Reply SoapArmageddon August 5, 2014 This revenge plot has given Ally Sweeney some of the best lines of her entire 20+ years on Days. Yesterday I gasped when she asked Abigail, ” Which one is better: a flat out bitch or a lying slut?” Log in to Reply GaryJr August 6, 2014 HAHAHA. I know! This is good 80′s bitchy dialogue script writing at it finest! Log in to Reply Yoryla August 6, 2014 But they shouldn’t give those kinds of lines to *her*. Log in to Reply Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Eric's Words Stun N... August 6, 2014 […] Eric says those three little words every girl loves to hear to Nicole, "I hate you!" this week on Days of Our Lives. […] Log in to Reply Yoryla August 6, 2014 Yeah, I don’t know if it was the goal of these happenings or not, but I never thought I could despise Sam-meeh as much as I do now. I mean, really? Who the hell does she think she is? That witch is not the only person ever to be cheated on. Plus considering everything she’s done herself, *including* multiple cheatings, she should just pipe down and get over it. I also don’t see why people should feel a need to encourage some sort of a revenge. It does not make you better than the one who did the original deed, it puts you on their level. I cannot believe people cheering on Sami!!! They should all be ashamed of themselves. Also, I cannot wait for her to leave the show so all this talk can stop. I do *not* like people talking about her so much. She’s just not that big of a deal. Log in to Reply GaryJr August 6, 2014 Sami is still the same tortured kid she’s always been and because of all her acting-out over the years Sami & her kids are about the only thing she has in life. EJ destroyed all that so it makes perfect sense that she wants to burn him and anyone associated with him to the ground.
