Family Feud and Upcoming Daytime Talk Show Host Steve Harvey Has No. 1 Film at The Box Office!

The year 2012 is shaping up to be a pretty darn good one for Steve Harvey! The Family Feud and upcoming daytime talk show host can now add to his resume having a movie based on one of his books hit No. 1 at the box office.

Think Like a Man, a rom-com with Harvey's best-selling book Act Like A Lady, Think Like a Man at its center, grossed an estimated $33 million at the box office this weekend. The flick, starring Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Michael Ealy, Meagan Good, Romany Malco, Gabrielle Union, Jerry Ferrara, Terrence J and Regina Hall, knocked Hollywood blockbuster The Hunger Games out of the top spot.

Families Will Keep Feuding Through 2015

Watching families fight still pays off. According to Deadline, Steve Harvey’s Family Feud has been renewed by distributor Debmar-Mercury through 2015, in over 75 percent of the country. Reportedly, the syndicated late afternoon and early evening game show has grown by 35 percent in households and 40 percent among women 25-54 with Harvey as host.
