Old favorites Arrow, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries will also be returning for the 2014-15 season.
Mark Pedowitz, president of The CW, said:

This season we’ve had great success with our new hit series The Originals paired with Supernatural, giving us our best Tuesday nights in years.  […]  The Vampire Diaries is No. 2 in its time period in the young adult demos, and with Arrow continuing to gain among young men, and Reign growing its time period, we now have strong nights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I’m very pleased to announce early pickups for all five series, and let our fans know they’ll have more great drama to look forward to next season.

Wilson Bethel on Hart of Dixie Romance: “Wade Still Has Some Feelings”

Wilson Bethelrecently spoke with Zap2it about the upcoming third season of Hart of Dixie. After Wade confessed his love to the titular Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson), she vanished for the summer. Now she's back, and with a new boyfriend, much to the chagrin of a heartsick Wade. So what can fans of the Wade-Zoe pairing look forward to?

Said Bethel:
Wade still has some feelings and Zoe still has some feelings. It's complicated. That's probably the appropriate terminology.

Check Out The CW’s Fall Soap Preview!

The CW will kick off their Fall 2013 programming with the fifth season premiere of The Vampire Diaries. This will take place on Thursday, Oct. 3 and will be followed by the premiere of The Vampire Diaries spinoff, The Originals
The young, mostly undead, adults of Mystic Falls will be dealing with transitioning to college life.  Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will also still be in the honeymoon phase of their relationship.  Katherine will be stuck readjusting to being human, while the villainous Silas masquerades as Stefan (Paul Wesley).

Will Robert Buckley Get a Piece of Lemon’s Meringue on Hart of Dixie?

Former One Tree Hill and 666 Park Avenue star Robert Buckley has a new gig. According to E! Online, Buckley will appear on The CW's Hart of Dixie as Peter, a man who might get a taste of Lemon's (Jaime King) meringue. Reportedly, Buckley is set to appear in one episode.

Buckley will play Peter, a sweet, ordinary guy who is just passing through Bluebell, and he has a chance encounter with Lemon (Jaime King). Last season, Lemon losing her queen bee status with the Belles caused some of her sass to disappear, so maybe Peter will bring back the season-one Lemon we all know and love. Nothing like a good, old-fashioned hookup to put the pep back in your step!
