Jeff Kwatinetz Reflects on First Season of Soap Reboots; Reveals TOLN is “Prepping For Next Season”

It's all over but the shouting for the premiere season of web continuations for All My Children and One Life to Live. Will the revived sudsers be back for Season 2? Prospect Park principles Jeff Kwatinetz says they will.

"We could not be more proud to have delivered a stunning season of All My Children and One Life to Live, and really thank the creative teams and cast for being true partners in this journey. Together we have tackled more business, creative, and logistical challenges than most shows experience in a lifetime of production, yet we continue to prevail with these top rated, critically acclaimed shows,” said Kwatinetz. “We are prepping now for next season and have more surprises and twists and turns to deliver audiences—I am just hoping they stay on the soaps and not in our way.”

Kendall Reunites With Bianca Monday, July 8 on All My Children!

Kane women unite! Access Hollywood got an exclusive photo teasing Alicia Minshew's upcoming cameo as Kendall Hart Slater on the new All My Children. Apparently, Erica Kane's (Susan Lucci) eldest daughter is once again in poor health. I bet it's that wonky, borrowed heart. Will baby sister Bianca come to the rescue? Here's what Eden Riegel had to say:

She is coming back for a cameo… and I got to work with her… which was just amazing. Staring into her big brown eyes everything came flooding back, like our old relationship and we shared so many intimate scenes together and also we’re very, very close friends so it was a lovely reunion between Bianca and Kendall,” she said.

Meanwhile, will Viki and Dorian's nephew, Jack Manning (Andrew Trischitta), be able to deal, if his parents get back together? See the full episode teasers after the jump!

Prospect Park Announces Yet ANOTHER Schedule Change For All My Children and One Life to Live

This is getting a bit ridiculous. Prospect Park has issued yet another press release regarding a change in scheduling/roll out for new episodes of All My Children and One Life to Live. Since, even with two journalism degrees and a right amount of horse sense, I still have trouble paraphrasing these logic-defying releases, I'm just gonna post the latest one verbatim:

Mondays are now soap days, with more choices, and more flexibility. Beginning next Monday, July 1, 2013, TOLN (The OnLine Network) will release ALL of the week’s highly-rated “All My Children” and “One Life To Live” episodes on Mondays via Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes. The new schedule means that TOLN will run all episodes on Mondays, and not stagger runs of “All My Children” on Mondays/Wednesdays, “One Life to Live” on Tuesdays/Thursdays and “MORE AMC/OLTL” on Fridays.  Now viewers will be able to choose to watch one episode each day or binge view some or all of that week’s shows at once starting each Monday.  Together with the MORE shows, viewers can play or save up to six TOLN programs per week—all available on Mondays – providing even more flexibility to watch anytime, and anywhere.

Prospect Park and Labor Union Resolve Dispute Over All My Children and One Life to Live

All's well that is negotiated well. Prospect Park and I.A.T.S.E New York Production Locals 52, 161, 600, 700, 764, 798 and USA829 have ended their dispute over the production budgets for online soaps, All My Children and One Life to Live. According to a joint statement, production will resume on August 12.

“We are pleased that the parties were able to successfully address their concerns in a mutually beneficial way, which will enable these innovative shows to continue to be produced with our talented crews,” said New York Production Locals, Local 600 Representative David Blake.

All My Children Tops TV’s Social Power Ranking

Here's a bit of good news for troubled, Prospect Park sudser All My Children. The "anytime" drama has topped TV Guide's Social Power Ranking.

Apparently more TVG website visitors are talking about Agnes Nixon's soap opera than about the final season of USA Network's Burn Notice (No. 2), Fox's American Idol (No. 3), HBO's Game of Thrones (No. 4) or NBC's Revolution (No. 5).

BREAKING NEWS: Prospect Park Begins Hiatus For All My Children and One Life to Live Early Amid Union Dispute!

The planned summer hiatus for All My Children and One Life to Live will begin earlier than expected — like tomorrow! In a statement to the press, The Online Network confirmed a dispute with the union representing production staffers on both soaps is causing production to stop on June 6, as opposed to June 17. When will the soaps return to production? According to TOLN, that depends on when the dispute is settled. See the full statement below.
