Divorce Court Gets Three Season Pick-Up

Twentieth Television and Fox TV stations aren't having irreconcilable differences about Divorce Court. The syndicated daytime staple has been renewed through the 2016-17 TV season.

“In the current landscape where many shows have declining ratings, we are thrilled to have a long-running program on an opposite trajectory,” said Stephen Brown, EVP of Development and Programming at Fox Television studios. “Renewing the series was an easy decision to make.”

Divorce Court Renewed Through 2015

The verdict is in for Divorce Court. The popular legal show's union with syndicated daytime television isn't ending any time soon, as Divorce Court has been renewed through the 2014-2015 season. From the press release:

"Divorce Court continues to thrive on daytime television thanks to Judge Lynn Toler and the outrageous couples that enter her courtroom each day," 20th Television exec vp and general sales manager Paul Franklin said. "Lynn’s ability to simultaneously entertain viewers while compassionately counseling her litigants is translating to ratings highs; we are thrilled that Divorce Court will remain a key component on local stations' daytime blocks."
