Webisoap News: Empire is Back, Miss Behave Wraps, The Bay Gets New Executive Producer and Anacostia Sizzles!

The webisoap world is exploding with news! Since I've been a bit busy of late—what with all of the breaking news in daytime—I decided to do a quick post detailing the latest from the world of independent soap operas.

Miss Behave stages a royal send off

Susan Bernhardt's
glitzy, teen sudser Miss Behave recently wrapped its run, with the introduction of Santa Barbara and As The World Turns alum Terri Garber as the villainous Queen aka mother of heroine Tori (Days of Our Lives' grad Jillian Clare). In addition to Garber and Clare, the final three episodes of Miss Behave feature past and present soapers: Eric Martsolf and Patrika Darbo.

The sudser's three-part finale was helmed by veteran General Hospital director Scott McKinsey (son of the late, great Beverlee McKinsey). Don't get too weepy about the end of Miss Behave. Several of the characters are being spun off for Bernhardt's upcoming webisioap Reign! Watch the three-part Miss Behave finale below.

Daytime Emmy-Winning Director (And Son of THE Beverlee McKinsey!) Tapped to Direct Web Sudser Miss Behave

Webisoap Miss Behave just added some major daytime suds pedigree! Famed General Hospital director Scott McKinsey will make his new media directing debut during the teen sudser's upcoming final season. The multiple Daytime Emmy winner and son of the best actress to ever grace the genre—the late Beverlee McKinsey (Iris, Another World/Alex, Guiding Light)—is joining fellow GH'er Vincent Steib as part of Miss Behave's team.

Eric Martsolf and Patrika Darbo Return For Season Two Finale of Miss Behave!

Miss Behave, the intriguing teen webisoap starring Jillian Clare (ex-Abby, Days of Our Lives), wraps up its second season today. As Tori (Clare) deals with the aftermath of her birthday party, she contends with a few familiar faces, such as Patrika Darbo as her therapist and Eric Martsolf as a hunky, movie star client of her PR maven mother. Peep This: Season Two Marathon of Teen Soap Miss Behave!

I tell you what, now that we have two sites to cover it means I don't have as much time to watch all my favorite webisoaps. I just finished a marathon of the second season of Susan Bernhardt's sexy, Koldcast TV teen sudser Miss Behave ,and let's just say this show will once again become appointment web TV when the third season rolls around!

Starring Jillian Clare (ex-Abby, Days of Our Lives) as troubled Malibu heirees Tori, Miss Behave's second season follows Tor-Tor's life in the wake of a shocking death and the revelation that one in her inner circle has stalker tendencies. Check out a marathon of Season Two below, featuring guest appearances from Days of Our Lives' Eric Martsolf and former DAYS star Patrika Darbo, the latter whom also directs episodes of the series.

Catch a Miss Behave Marathon!

Things are heating up on the latest episode of the new teen web soap Miss Behave. In it, our heroine Tori (Jillian Clare) finds herself torn between doing the right thing on a school night and being seduced by her boyfriend Riley (Marco James) and bestest friend Tasha (Bianca Magick) into partying the night away.

Miss Behave tells the story of Tori and Billy Archer (Trevor Nelson) –the children of a famous author father and a Hollywood publicist mother– left to fend for themselves as their parents seek fame and fortune. With only each other and the occasional call from their mother The Queen to keep them on the straight and narrow, the Archer siblings face life head on.

Will Tori Get The Role in Eppy 3 of Miss Behave?

Tori (Jillian Clare) is still sneaking around with her bad boy Riley (Marco James) in the latest episode of addictive, teen, web sudser Miss Behave, much to her brother Billy's (Trevor Nelson) chagrin! Tori missed the audition for the lead in Romeo and Juliet, while hanging with Riley and bad seed Tasha (Bianca Magick), although something tells me Tori will do whatever it takes to prove to Mr. Owens (Darin Brooks) just how bad she wants the part! Keep checking back this weekend for my chat with Clare, star and executive producer of one of Koldcast's most-watched current series!

Watch DAYS Grads Jillian Clare and Darin Brooks in Sexsational Web Soap, Miss Behave!

It looks like while I was off waking up in Vegas like Katy Perry for the 37th Annual Daytime Emmys, the first two episodes of Miss Behave, the new, Koldcast teen sudser starring Days of Our Lives alums Jillian Clare (ex-Abby) and Darin Brooks (ex-Max) premiered! Miss Behave— for which Clare also serves as an executive producer— tells the webisodic story of Tori Archer (Clare), a spoiled, 16-year-old, Malibu heiress, who is crushing on bad boy Riley (Marco James) and telling as many lies as she has to to be with him.

Tori is caught between her two best friends, sweet Danielle (Jenna Stone), whom Tori has known since high school and Tasha (Bianca Magick), a trouble making minx and the ultimate bad influence on Tori. Tori's college-aged, big brother, Billy (Trevor Nelson) is dealing with boyfriend and Mommy issues, while Tori's own ex-boyfriend from grade school, Dylan (Brett DelBuono) doesn't quite realize that particular ship has sailed and sunk.

Rounding out the cast is Brooks as Blake Owens, the drama teacher who is determined to see Tori play Juliet in a school production of Shakespeare's tragedy. Something tells me Mr. Owens will end up doing more than running lines with his young pupil!

I just watched the first two episodes of the web sudser and I am beyond impressed with the quality production values, pacing, characterization and realistic dialogue. I maybe would ditch the characters talking the plot aloud so much, but it isn't that problematic. I give the show a solid recommendation! Check out the first two episodes of Miss Behave after the jump, then head on over to the official website to learn all about the Miss Behave Universe!
