Days of Our Lives Snags GLAAD Nomination


WilSon will be getting a little same sex love at this year's GLAAD Media Awards. Days of Our Lives was the only sudser nominated in Outstanding Daily Drama category for the organization's 25th annual feting.

The Fosters, Grey's Anatomy, Orphan Black, Pretty Little Liars and Shameless will face off in the Outstanding Drama Series competition. While those chatty Cathys from The Ricki Lake Show, Oprah's Next Chapter, Ellen, Raising McCain and Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell will face off in the Outstanding Talk Show Episode category.

Oprah Winfrey
isn’t having any second thoughts about being in business with troubled actress Lindsay Lohan. The talk show titan stopped by The Early Show Monday morning, where she discussed her media empire and new movie, Lee Daniels’ The Butler.

During the visit, Winfrey also opened up about her upcoming interview with Lohan and the eight-part documentary series in the works for LiLo at OWN. Watch the interview after the jump!

OWN Snags Lindsay Lohan Interview and Signs Actress For Documentary


Lindsay Lohan's stock is starting to slowly rise. EW.com is reporting Oprah Winfrey and OWN have nabbed the trouble starlet for a television interview once she leaves rehab this summer.

According to the site, Lohan will appear on Oprah's Next Chapter, after completing her 90-day, court-appointed rehab stint . OWN has also signed Lohan for an eight-part documentary series, which will air in 2014.

Oprah’s Interview With Lance Armstrong Grabs 4.3 Million Viewers


 

Oprah Winfrey’s one-on-one interview with disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong brought in 4.3 million total viewers on its Thursday night debut. The 9-10 pm  first portion of the chat netted the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) 3.2 million viewers, while the 10:30 pm second airing of the telecast averaged another 1.1 million viewers.  The special was the highest-rated weekday show in the history of the network in all key demos.
 

Anderson Cooper on Lance Armstrong Doping Scandal: “He Was a Complete Jerk About This For Years and Years”


Don’t expect Anderson Cooper and disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong to go bike riding anytime soon.  On Wednesday's episode of Anderson, Cooper and guest co-host Dari Alexander discussed Armstrong copping to using performance-enhancement drugs in an upcoming interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The Silver Fox remarked:

I've got to say he was a complete jerk about this for years and years and years. He wouldn't just deny this. He would go after and try to destroy the people who were telling the truth and people who were telling the truth would get anonymous death threats. Even the guy from the anti-doping agency got anonymous email death threats; it's not known who it's from.
