Shameless and House of Lies to Return on Showtime


Long live the Gallaghers! Showtime has ordered additional seasons of Shameless and House of Lies.  Each will return in winter 2015 with 12 new episodes. 
 
Shameless, in its fourth season, is currently having it highest-rated run to date. The drama averages 5.5 million viewers, while House of Lies is holding steady with 3 million viewers weekly. 

Days of Our Lives Snags GLAAD Nomination


WilSon will be getting a little same sex love at this year's GLAAD Media Awards. Days of Our Lives was the only sudser nominated in Outstanding Daily Drama category for the organization's 25th annual feting.

The Fosters, Grey's Anatomy, Orphan Black, Pretty Little Liars and Shameless will face off in the Outstanding Drama Series competition. While those chatty Cathys from The Ricki Lake Show, Oprah's Next Chapter, Ellen, Raising McCain and Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell will face off in the Outstanding Talk Show Episode category. 

Has Fiona Seen The Last of Jimmy on Shameless?


Forget Fiona (Emmy Rossum), have we seen the last of Justin Chatwin's fine booty on Shameless?  The character of Jimmy was always up for dropping his pants and giving us a peek on The Showtime hit!

At the end of Season 3, it appeared Jimmy's drug lord father-in-law may have had him swimming with the fishes.  According to The Hollywood Reporter,

A Showtime rep confirms that Chatwin's days as a series regular have come to an end but that the actor could return for one or two episodes in season four.

The ultimate queen of sudsy pot boilers released her 29th novel, The Power Trip, on Tuesday and yours truly was asked to co-host a blogger party Monday night at Yotel, with my new homegirl, stylista extraordinaire Lara Eurdolian (above right) of the blog Pretty Connected.
