EXCLUSIVE: Days of Our Lives Alum Jillian Clare Nabs Lead Role in Upcoming Teen Pot Boiler ‘Gorgeous’

The SFN has found their Maci Vanowen, for the online TV network's planned interactive teen sudser Gorgeous. Former Days of Our Lives actress Jillian Clare (ex-Abigail Deveraux) has snagged the role of a "self-proclaimed queen of makeup and high fashion, whose business instincts have turned her hobby into a small cottage industry."

Clare, who headlined the addictive teen sudser Miss Behave and was recently seen in the Nickelodeon movie Freak The Freak Out, has already wowed her new bosses!

“Jillian is the perfect Maci Vanowen,” said Stewart St. John who, along with Todd Fisher, created the teen soap. “She’s a strong actress who will bring dimension to the character…  making maci someone who is not only beautiful, but interesting and compelling.”

Webisoap Community Pumped For Tonight’s Indie Soap Awards!

What is quickly becoming the Emmys for the webisoap community, the Annual Indie Soap Awards are being held tonight in Gotham, and to say the nominees are pumped, would be an understatement on par with saying the DeVanity siblings are just a wee bit dysfunctional!

Anacostia creator/leading man Anthony Anderson (who I am forever trying to rename Anthony Edwards for some odd reason!) is predicting the cast of his sizzling, mocha take on classic primetime soaps like Peyton Place and Knots Landing, will stun on the red carpet tonight. Anderson tweeted:
Starting to get ready for tonight's Indie Soap Awards #anacostia we gonna rock that red carpet @WeLoveSoapsTV
