Mark Consuelos to Headline ABC Scripted Comedy


 
Mark Consuelos is not letting any grass grow under his feet. Deadline is reporting the All My Children alum will star in an upcoming comedy for ABC. The series will focus on a Queens handyman and his son, who get swept up into the uber rich world of the Upper West Side as they both become part of a non-traditional family.

Consuelos and wife Kelly Ripa will serve as executive producers for the project along with writer Peter Murrieta and Aaron Kaplan. Fans missing the actor can catch him on the new season of FX's American Horror Story: Asylum

Check Out ATWT's Tamara Tunie With Denzel Washington in Flight Trailer!

As The World Turns fan favorite Tamara Tunie is returning to the big screen! The actress snared a plum role in the upcoming Denzel Washington  flick Flight. The movie centers on an investigation involving a commercial airline pilot's (Washington) emergency landing which saved all on board.

The praises turn to accusations after the pilot's blood is discovered to contain alcohol around the time of the trip.  Tunie plays Margaret, a flight attendant on the doomed aircraft. Tamara Braun to Guest on Castle Tonight

 

Soap veteran Tamara Braun will appear on tonight's episode of Castle. Braun will play city council woman and bar owner Natalia Roosevelt, who gets tangled up in Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett's (Stana Katic) murder investigation in the Hamptons.

Castle airs Mondays at 10 pm EST on ABC.
