Y&R - Adam's Eyes

I'm one of those people that have been defending this thing with Adam's blindness. I know he isn't blind, he's legally blind. I know he has Retinitis pigmentosa, which means he basically has tunnel vision. And that's exactly what bugs me. Because now Y&R messed up. Tunnel vision in the dark DOESN'T work, at least not very well. It can't. Because when it's dark you can basically forget your foveal vision because the receptors in the middle of the retina aren't sensitive enough to pick up the little light that's still left. You have to rely on your peripheral vision. Now, if your peripheral vision is gone... I guess you're pretty much screwed. I'm not saying he won't be able to see ANYTHING. I guess he will still see stuff, the foveal vision is not 100% gone when it's dark, but I just can't imagine him seeing enough to do all he did on yesterday's episode. Without ever tripping or hitting his foot on something.
If someone on here's a doctor or something and knows more about this, please, enlighten me

The show has done a shoddy job with continuity where his blindness is concerned. I wouldn't be surprised if they retconned it altogether, claiming that he paid the doctor off to say he was going blind as yet another of his evil plans. I so can't take this guy seriously anymore.
I am so over this Adam being "blind"....I would rather them just give him his sight back. Watching him climb thorough dark vents and a dark alley or whereever they were just annoys me. It's like one minute he can see 20/20 then the next they are showing us a clip of him having tunnel vision. It's like make up your mind Y&R. The inconsistency is what annoys me.
I am so over Adam. It's like enough is enough. He is able to sneak into the psycho ward and of course because of budget cuts they don't have cameras. Give me a break. Sigh this show just make me angry when I watch it at times.
All soaps need villains but they need to tone Adam down. It is just too much. Maria Arena Bell needs to chill out with all this nonsense. It's one shenanigan after another. He has yet to pay for anything he has done. Ugh

Adam's blindness got lost in the curio cabinet with Sharon's independence, Melody Thomas's airtime, the PLEASE COME BACK letter that Ma Bell was SUPPOSED to mail to Vicki Rowell TWO years ago and Amelia Heinle's hair comb!!!!

Maybe it was the DRIVING or seeing small screws or reading blueprints on an iPhone that threw me off.....
