Doesn't seem to be a long term thing but this is so welcomed and needed!
She is such a beautiful young woman.
I'll bet it ties into the Summer paternity story.
Somehow I hope this is not a ghost or flashback.
When she whispered to Nick that they'd have another girl, I always hoped she meant there was a twin.
I doubt that's where they are going, but I can hope.
Her being taken off the canvas was one of the most egregious mistakes ever in Y&R's 40 years. The other, speaking for myself only, was Colleen Carlton. These two characters could have been carrying story for their respective legacy families for a long time...
I agree that Cassie was a big big mistake. It sent both parents spiraling out of control. They did get miles of story out of it though. I always thought killing Ryan off was the biggest error the show made. And ratings showed.
I have to present a possibly unpopular opinion, but I actually don't think Cassie's death was a mistake, but actually the Last Good, "Golden" Story Y&R wrote. It gave all the people involved loads of storyline, it was a good umbrella. And honestly by that time I was elated to finally see Nick and Sharon get divorced after 10 years of marriage. It was about time (no one in soaps stays married that long, lol) However, it was after Nick and Phyllis had gotten married and had Summer - THAT is when Y&R started to go to the wolves. Welcome "Pheila", Carmen Mesta (ugh!), Adrian Korbel, etc etc. Yuck.
The one MAJOR mistake Y&R did was not put Sharon and Brad together. They had enormous chemistry, and very a HOT couple. Instead, both Brad and Sharon wound up in made-up, loveless marriages with Victoria and Jack. I still can't even believe Jack & Sharon were ever married! What ridiculousness.
I would love for her to come back as a twin and stay for a long time. It would give as much as a s/l as it will if Summer turns out not to be Nick's daughter. We need some new s/ls to get the interest level up.
Josh needs to stop playing everything so damn safe.
So no ghost...
Write something we haven't seen in a while.
