Happy for GH that they are

Happy for GH that they are up! For the longest time, they really deserve it! This week and the week after have been superb.

Yeah and so here's the thing with Y&R. Finally their numbers are down as they should be, but who knows how much they are because of the blackout and how much for the awful, awful storylines. Also, TPTB have a scapegoat, they are now able to blame the blackouts for all the declines, which is just sickening.

Days is the best of the best, the cream of the crop, hopefully it will be noted on the ratings aswell at some point.

Yoryla....you can't have a 3 mil + blackout and not affect the ratings. And since BB was down the same you can't single out YR!

Plus Days was down across the board with no blackout.

You gotta call it as it is!

Happy for GH. Thank goodness

Happy for GH. Thank goodness the show is improving. I like Roger Howarth but the Franco fiasco and that whole Kiki/Morgan/Micheal thing was a bore.
Dr. O has been the best part of the show, from her "Is that is it all?" song to her whole performance. She makes a great villian. I like seeing Luke and Laura again, loved the Mac Felicia wedding. There is hope for the show.

If they are desperate to watch it they will, you can always watch online if you want. B&B was up 77,000 more than Y&R for the week, sooooo?????

WHAT, I already wrote a reply but now it's gone.

I know, pferrando, but now the ratings are all skewed and the suits (JFP, yes, YOU) can and will try to use this as an excuse for the ratings being down. We have now no way of knowing whether someone has actually tuned out because of the show itself. The ratings aren't trustworthy now.

And the Days ratings are incomprehensible, and a shame. They should have much, much better ratings.

IDK. I look at it like the blackout may have had something to do with it, or maybe people just tuned out. Either way, it's still up significantly from last year, so JFP and the suits won't need an excuse to feel as if they are doing things good.

Personally, I'd rather have MAB as Executive Producer than JFP, but that's just my personal opinion. Ed Scott would be my dream EP..but that's not gonna happen.

Anyway, I just want all the shows to be successful, and really, they all are doing a lot better now than they were before so that's reason to celebrate.

This also may point out, (and I was surprised to think about it) that maybe the soaps in general don't have a huge following in the bigger markets.

I've always said I think it's ridiculous that the advertisers only look at those "demos" anyway when the overall viewership is sooooo much higher.

Yes, I think the blackout did cause a dip in the ratings but here we are again at 3.3 in total viewers again...just as MAB, this team has done everything but have YR's ratings stick and rise consistently, if this team is so hot it should be at most weeks getting 3.7 and it's not happening because Dylan, Cane, Chelsea, Avery, Chloe, etc.

BB is the best little soap that could, Days is rocking 2nd, YR is miserly in 3rd position, that breaks my heart....sigh Sad(
