I don’t watch AMC, but I usually catch the last few minutes when I’m getting ready for OLTL to come on. It looks like AMC has finally stopped "filmizing" the show. It made the show look awful. Am I correct in thinking they’ve stopped?

As of today, 2/4, they begin broadcasting in HD…don’t know if that is what you’re seeing or not :)

No, it looks like they dropped their filmizing effect that they’ve been using since 2006. I don’t have an HDTV.

I think that AMC has bigger fish to fry than just their "production values"……..like writing stories that will make the show INTERESTING again!!! We all know that the best producing skills in the world can’t detract from bad writing.

I wouldn’t know anything about their stories because I’m not a fan, but they’ve definitely dropped the "filmize" look. That was the look Sunset Beach had in its first few months, and it was quickly abandoned.
