B&B Up For Another Golden Nymph Award

The Golden Nymph Award isn't what you think. Otherwise, several characters on The Bold and the Beautiful would be marathon winners. According to the Canyon News, B&B has garnered its fifth consecutive nomination in the Telenovela/Soap Opera category for The Monte Carlo Television Festival's International TV Audience Award. The recognition goes to programs that have the highest number of viewers over a worldwide audience covering five continents.

B&B has been the recipient of the award for the last four years, confirming that in its genre, with an estimated 35 million daily viewers, it remains the most watched series in the world.

B&B's head writer Bradley Bell, along with stars John McCook, Brandon Beemer and Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will be in attendance for the festivities as guests of H.S.H. Prince Albert II. The winners will be awarded on June 10.

Who is Bridget's Baby Daddy on B&B?

Bridget (Ashley Jones) is in the midst of a baby daddy brouhaha, not knowing who the father of her child is Owen (Brandon Beemer) or Nick (Jack Wagner). Meanwhile the Logan girls face a family crisis on The Bold and the Beautiful. Watch this week’s promo after the jump.

B&B Catch Up: Whip Proposes, Bridget Feels Guilty & Stephanie Slips Eric the Tongue

The Bold and the Beautiful’s teen set took center stage at the beginning of last week. Sweet-yet-drippy Hope battled with supposed “vixen” Steffy for the affections of Oliver. Oh, how we yawned. Is Steffy starting to have real feelings for the DJ-turned-filmmaker? Or is she just out to make Hope’s life hell? It’s a mystery. As is the reason a school dance was held at Forrester Creations in the first place. Another mystery: why does that fool Marcus keep cheerleading for Steffy? She already admitted to hating the Logans, and would gladly have his mother thrown out of FC on her derriere. Yet still he stands around, all "aw, shucks, Steffy, you’re awesome." We learned that he has a girlfriend, so at least Mr Smiles is getting some. READ MORE

B&B's Brandon Beemer is TV Guide Canada's Sexiest Man Alive

TV Guide Canada has named The Bold and the Beautiful's Brandon Beemer their 2010 Sexiest Man Alive.

TVG: I think B&B has stripped you down to your nibbly bits more times than any other soap character in daytime history! Do you feel the pressure to keep you body in killer shape?

BB: Yeah. Especially when you’re working back-to-back days. I’m naturally inclined to live a healthy and fit life. I eat well. I go to the gym. But I will admit when you find out your character is going to be walking around in leather pants with the word “indulge” written on his chest, you get a little anxious and nervous. Owen’s supposed to be the face of this fashion line so I have to look like a fashion model. Owen’s job is to sell this Jackie M image. So if I can’t make it to the gym, I do feel frustrated. I wish CBS had a gym at the studio. That would solve a lot of problems for the actors. If that were to happen, we’d be all ecstatic. Having an in-studio gym facility would only make sense. And actors who don’t work out really wouldn’t have an excuse not to be at their physical best anymore. It’s a win-win.
