Sharon Osbourne Willing to Testify in Jackson Family's Wrongful Death Lawsuit

Jury selection began today in the wrongful death trial resulting from Michael Jackson's demise. The late King of Pop's mother, Katherine Jackson filed the $40 billion suit against concert promoter AEG, alleging the company was negligent in her son's 2009 death.

According to the Jackson family matriarch's case, AEG hired Dr. Conrad Murray to oversee her son's medical care. Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011, and sentenced to four years in prison.

Music industry insider Sharon Osbourne weighed in on the controversial case today on The Talk. Said Mrs. O:

“There were certain people that worked at that company that knew Michael Jackson was not well, and didn’t care because it’s business. At the end of the day whether he performed or didn’t, they would still make money.”

Later the juggernaut businesswoman, who manages rock god Ozzy Osbourne's career, added:

“I’ve had conversations with certain people at that company who have said exactly that to me. And if they’d like me to go to court – the Jackson family – I will stand up and tell you who said that to me.”
