A You Tube video of an actor named Redaric Williams auditioning for the role of Tyler Douglas on The Young and the Restless has revealed some juicy potential spoilers! First off, the character, who is reportedly a nephew of Sarge (Darnell Williams), appears to be coming to work for Neil (Kristoff St. John) at Jabot — though he pronounces it Ja-Butt!

VOTE: Which Soap Leading Man Will Win The Outstanding Lead Actor Daytime Emmy?

Daytime's leading men had plenty of drama to play out last season, but which top dog showed chops worthy of taking home Daytime Emmy gold? You tell us who YOU think will win the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Leading Actor on Saturday night!

Will it be General Hospital's Anthony Geary (Luke) or Maurice Benard (Sonny), The Bold and The Beautiful's John McCook (Eric), One Life to Live's Robert S. Woods or All My Children's Darnell Williams (Jesse)?

Darnell Williams on Y&R’s Sarge: “He's an A—Hole”

TV Guide’s Michael Logan caught up with former All My Children star Darnell Williams and talked to him about his upcoming role on The Young and the Restless as Sarge.  In the interview, they also chat about Prospect Park’s plan to take AMC to the web falling through, whether lightening will strike twice for him and Debbi Morgan and what we can expect from Sarge.

TV Guide Magazine: You've gone from playing cool cop in Pine Valley to hot-head screamer in Genoa City. What's eating Sarge?

Williams: He's like an ex-Marine drill sergeant who bullies his patients into getting better.  We'll be chipping away the layers to find out why. There's something pretty big lurking beneath the surface, though I don't yet know what that is. [Laughs] I don't even know Sarge's real name but I do know he's an a--hole.

No Debbi, No Darnell Among Increasingly Pointless NAACP Image Award Nods

I've decided to try to be less snarky about The Young and the Restless, and now is as good a time as any to start, I suppose. So kudos to the sudser for dominating the soap categories in nominations for the 43rd Annual NAACP Image Awards. The very fact that a soap opera which recently had a black crackhead calling a white woman "Miss Phyllis" is being celebrated for its positve portrayal of people of color...well, that says more than I ever could, really.

Y&R's Christel Khalil (Lily), Julie Pace Mitchell (Sofia), Tatyana Ali (Roxanne) and Tonya Lee Williams (Olivia) were all nominated for Oustanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series. They will compete against The Bold and the Beautiful's Yvette Freeman, who recurs as Stephanie Forrester's (Susan Flannery) oncologist.
