Apparently two isn't always better than one when it comes to Latino heartthrobs. EW.com's Michael Ausiello is reporting CSI Miami plans to get rid of Cardoza (Eddie Cibrian) now that Adam Rodriguez is returning to the procedural full-time next fall as Delko.

Eddie Cibrian "officially" joins Horatio's CSI team tonight and surprise, surprise, they already have him shirtless. Last week's season premiere of CSI: Miami flashed back to how the CSI team began and showed Cibrian's character, Jesse Cardoza, leaving town just after Horatio found out a CSI team was being created in Miami.

Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes were spotted together at the Valencia Country Club, according to People. The couple, who have been under intense public scrutiny since US Magazine published pictures of the stars kissing, spent almost three hours together on the golf course. Since Us Magazine's report, both Cibrian and Rimes have separated from their respective spouses. It was recently announced that Cibrian is joining the cast of CSI: Miami.

Eddie Cibrian's wife Brandi Glanville has left him, according US Weekly. In an exclusive statement she said "Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart," continuing "I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn [Rimes] deserve each other."

Unlike his personal life, Eddie Cibrian's (ex-Cole; Sunset Beach, ex- Matt; Y&R) professional life just got a bit sweeter. The soap alum landed a role on the CBS hit crime drama, CSI: Miami where the actor will become a series regular. Cibrian will play an officer that transfers into the CSI team. LeAnn Rimes will be storing this on her TiVo season pass.

Eddie Cibrian and LeAnne Rimes are responding to US Weekly's report that the two are having an affair.

Rimes wrote on her official website: 

"This is a difficult time for me and my loved ones, but I appreciate all your continued support," she writes. "I would like to assure all of you that this is a place for you to hear things directly from me and as you all know, not everything in our lives is always black and white."

Eddie Cibrian to Access Hollywood:

“Other than being friends and two actors who were romantically intertwined in a movie-for-television we filmed last fall, there is no truth to the reporting initiated by US Magazine,” Eddie said in a statement to Access Hollywood on Wednesday. “It is a fabricated story that is using random snapshots as connective tissue to create a scandalous relationship.”

Guest star go-to and former soap hunk Eddie Cibrian has landed the new CBS pilot Washington Field, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The drama centers around an FBI squad "made up of experts who travel the world responding to crises that concern U.S. national interests."

I went back and looked at Cibrian's filmography on IMDB. Since leaving Sunset Beach he's appeared on or starred in Tilt, Third Watch, Invasion, Vanished, Criminal Minds, Dirty Sexy Money, Samantha Who?, Ugly Betty and The Starter Wife, to name a few.

Heather Tom wasn't the only soap star or former soap star on Thursday's Ugly Betty. Eddie Cibrian returned as Coach Tony Diaz, showing up at Mode where Amanda and Marc acted like they wanted to eat him alive.
